premium town experiment

This has been discussed at length but I'm too lazy to link to the threads right now.

Personally I don't need money but out of curiosity I tapped up one of my friends with all the premiums until I was starting at $1000/building. I didn't take note of the XP. 50 friends + an hour came out to around $166k. Not bad, and if Burns' Manor ends up costing $5million I may use this trick.

I hate when that happens, I've never got myself over $200/tap because I'm always too afraid it will crash if I keep going!

What I want to know is one person said they visit one house per town and then go through neighbors 3 times, does this make any difference?

Yes it will because the bonus seems to increase each time you visit a town rather than each time you tap houses. Doing as you have suggested, on the basis that you have 100 friends, you will be doing a total of 303 visits rather than 101 and hence significantly increase your bonus.

However, to achieve the highest amount of cash using this method you need to visit friends with premium content and in particular those which have items that offer bonuses on tasks carried out (I could be wrong but I think that the Springfield sign carries the single biggest bonus)

If like me only a small proportion of your friends actually have premium items then you can achieve a similar effect by selecting one premium town and continuously coming in and out of it without collecting from any of the houses. Then you do a normal collection from the rest of your neighbours.

Where did you read that Mr Burn's mansion will cost $5m? It seems unlikely to me.

    ah thanks for explanation peruhomer...

I got up to $650 a house tonight, it's good to do later at night when people are unlikely to call you and interrupt, there is less traffic/likelihood of crash, and make sure you are plugged in because the 20% battery remaining also kicks you out!

On another note, I may develop carpal tunnel from all this tapping!

I usually keep going till I get up to 1k per tap. I had 2 successful nights doing this, although last night my game kept crashing after exiting about 5 times, also this morning too. I now have 800k banked so I'm happy with that for a while.
I'll continue to try my buddy list and hope for stability later :-)

Just successfully used this trick without any crashes, felt like Scrooge McDuck in his moneybin when I saw the total. :)

Then I spent it.. Ah well.

was reading about the posting for getting more money from visiting neighbors.
i tried a little experiment. i have two different Spring fields on an IPad and IPod.
with my low level town i visited with my premium town. i did not collect from any houses ,
just kept going in and out of the premium town.
after doing it for awhile , ( got bored and finger tired out, lol ) was able to collect 25xp and $370
from each of the three buildings from my neighbors

anyone want to try to see how high the money and XP from a building can get up too
I have a question since you did this with side by side devices. Did you get the visitor notification over and over in your premium town. If yes that can be annoying to the ones we do this to. Try an experiment and turn on the notifications in the premium town (if they are off). I am curious as to what happens.

I've been doing this lately on both my accounts (danshep233 as well). I load it on my iPad Mini when doing so because texts/notifications from other apps ruined my clicks a lot.

Last night while watching basketball I just clicked in and out of one for about 50 minutes. Was making $2,000 a tap to start. Usually I'll do between 30-40 and start at 1,000 a tap or more.

I'm doing this because I play too much haha. Once I have all the land (23 squares away in one, 35 or so in the other), I can do a massive overhaul and then kind of slog along until updates/new stuff. My wife could benefit from me playing less too, although she designed my SF under this account when we had little land and will likely do so again when we have it all.

So apologies to my friends when my SF loads at bottom where there's nothing, just trying to buy it all up.

I remember the thread... Someone joked in an idea thread that it would be great if Burns Manor cost $1mil. (I even commented that that was an awesome idea, since cash is so easy to come by at top levels.) Then, in true forum fashion, that idea was repeated without the appropriate context and was taken seriously. Ahh, the birth of a rumor.

I have gotten up to around $4750 per tap. I have a neighbor eeno (who shall remain nameless) with 120 burning bushes at .5%, 11 news vans at 1%, 6 world broadcast news dishes at .75%, 40 orange trees at .5%, and the Springfield sign of course at 4.5%.

That is roughly 100% bonus each tap without the benefit of the other premium items that I failed to mention.

My game usually doesn't crash when visiting friends so it has been fairly easy to collect $1M+ each day.

This neighbor doesn't even play anymore, as there is no hospital or Hibbert office or ambulances.

I just lucked out I guess.

That's funny. I have noticed the abyss when visiting your town and have wondered what is this guy up to? No apologies needed because it doesn't bug me, but mystery solved!

Sorry, I didn't read that anywhere. I was just using that as the only example I could think of to get me to spend time on the bonus.

Newb question here: aside from just speeding up the game experience, you don't really need to do this right? Meaning when you play the game normally you are not typically sitting around trying to make cash so that you can build/ buy your next thing or is that not the case? This is really for people who want to power through a bit.

I've definitely had some points where I was short of cash when new buildings were introduced (and also for land). This trick isn't necessary but might be good to keep in mind if you find yourself in the same predicament.
