Homer bug??

I used to have an issue where just clicking on him to assign him a task would crash the game but that hasn't actually happened in a while so I'm not sure if its been fixed or if I've just been lucky, or if deleting about 70 friends had a positive effect on my stability issues.

I have had this issue with Homer for a couple weeks, I have actually gotten used to it now :?
I also occasionally have this issue with Kang and Bumblebee Man, but not as much as I do with Homer.
