The last time I tried it I accidently hit their KL by mistake. I went back to their SF but got nothing so this probably kills it. Watch where you tap. :oops:

Do I have to go to a neigbor before the game has taken me to Cecil?

There may be a similar glitch with the payout from mutant sprouts. I'm not sure so I haven't mentioned it before...
I'll go to Krustyland and receive a payout from the sprouts I dropped, then return to Springfield and get another payout.
Thank you. I was going to post about that earlier but without screenshots for absolute proof and verification I felt a bit nervous about mentioning it at all. I'm not sure what triggers it but it only has happened to me twice a day. Maybe linked to the Sideshow You balloon pop timer?
Excellent, thank you jonjames! Now, as stated before, we must all keep this VERY QUIET lol. We can't go blasting this around on Facebook or other TSTO sites or this will be nerfed like these glitches are so often done in the Family Guy game.

I dropped some seeds in a neighbor's town. A while later he dropped some seeds in mine (and I actually caught the name of who dropped them this time...). So I went to Krustyland and received the payout for the ones I dropped in his, returned to my town and got the payout message again.
I thought maybe I was just getting the message twice, but I looked closely this time and the payouts were different.
Now, I still haven't verified that I'm actually getting the payouts twice. I'd need to know how many of everything I had before I got the double payout messages and I don't keep track.

Make sure you actually go into a friends town not just to the menu! I was confused to start with too! When you're in their town then you receive your reward and again when you go back to your own town!!
I've been exploiting the hell out of this glitch. Today I had something weird happen though. Although it says I've completed all cecil's tasks for the day, characters still have the 2hr taste test gmo foods task highlighted in their lists. I sent the native American chief on the task to see what happens when he's done. He's still on it right now.
Update: this has caused a major glitch in my game.. it now freezes whenever i click on the completed task hand. It also freezes if I store krustyburger or the casino.. hoping it is fixed when cecil's daily tasks reset.
we just got an in game update....hmmm, no word on what it changed yet. I have about 50 minutes till I finish a Cecil task. Can anyone report back if that's what changed?

You have to do it fast before the game takes you over to Cecil.
It's worked every time for me (when I did it right - I didn't do it fast enough once).
