The best part about getting your hair done professionally is that it's so relaxing getting your hair done - my favourite part is when they wash your hair and massage your scalp (which I believe is a universal salon thing)! And of course, when they brush it. So relaxing!

So I'm curious - what is your favourite thing about getting your hair done?

I hate getting my hair done as I get bored waiting for the dye to do it's work lol, but I agree having someone wash your hair and massage it is nice.

Best thing is the end result! :P

Yikes!! I have issues with people touching me...so I am not a fan of getting the washing done, one time this hair person, even though I told her no, do not wash my hair she did anyways, I was so angry with her and I just tense up, terrifying experience....

I'd say the end result, because that's the only time it looks wonderful. Now if I could find a hairstylist that would do my hair for me every morning for free...

I go to Rainbow Hair Salon, where I pay a friendly Asian man $7 to cut it. I actually give him 10, and feel like a big tipper!

I love the hair washing and massage thing so much. It's so relaxing. I love my hair being played with and I love massages too. So it's win win for me.

I do get bored waiting for dye to take effect etc. And I usually end up needing to pee if it's a long session :oops:

I've never heard of it, but if you like what they do then $10 total is a pretty good deal. Do they use parchment paper during the cut at all? :P
