Simple idea to get more room in game

That's the entire idea behind my design. I've made house communities (I'm not much for farms, but don't hate people for them), and will get rid of them as soon as I need room.

Hey, here's a tip to get more room in your Springfield: store some houses! I still have 5 star Springfield, and I cleared up about 4 plots of land. I could probably get a plot or 2 more and still have a nice little residential area.

Just thought I'd share, maybe it might help someone ;)
try telling the house farmers that ! Lol

From looking at a lot of my neighbors towns - a good way to recover some land would be to remove all those streets. Single buildings surrounded by streets all over their towns.

Build streets around blocks, but don't leave them out altogether. I am probably going to defriend some neighbors who don't have streets because I don't have time to search all of their town to find the tiny area where the Bob clones are gathered.

You think that's bad? I've got one neighbor who has short little sections of street scattered here and there. At least if they're in one spot you can memorize it.

that's why my street is right where the spawn point is. kinda up due to the moving of the latest land expansion but it's there

I build around blocks, rather than buildings. I have quite a bit of stuff at this point, but I'm not feeling a real space crunch as yet, even without selling off my small house farm.

Yeah I started doing this as well. Used to have a large collection of brown houses, but have stored all but three. Will probably continue on that trend with the houses as I get more variety from all these events.
