Is a perfect event possible?

The problem is that everyone has different preferences, so an event that's perfect for one person would be terrible to another. I think EA aims for "pretty good" for most people.

And honestly, if they did work out a "perfect formula," even that would get old after an event or two. I know what things I like and dislike about each event, but I especially like the variety - they're not all the same.

I really liked the community prizes, I've missed those
I also like when visiting neighbors helps them and me, with the bob event I have not even been bothering with visits

I like the 2 things you've suggested. I like being able to collect all my currency and really love working towards prizes.

I prefer events where you can help neighbours more, or it is beneficial to visit all your neighbours both for you and theneighbour. Dont really like this event because only a few friend visits get event currency and seed pods are tough to get.

    I thought Stonecutters was perfect.

    1. The "spying" mechanic of friend visits meant that I could collect from all my buildings, and I didn't have to flippin chase anything through my town to clear the way for neighbors.
    2. Daily "puzzles" to unlock some of the prizes was a brilliant mechanic that kept things interesting all month.
    3. Number One's daily tasks (similar to Cecil's tasks) were almost enough to get all emblem prizes by themselves if you could do them every day. It was an advantage to have neighbors, but it wasn't a necessity.
    4. Questline completion rewarded donuts!
    5. Bonus donuts!

Also, I personally loved the source episode, but even aside from that I thought it was great. Not that all the other events have been terrible, but Stonecutters was the single most enjoyable experience I've had playing Tapped Out.

I had mentioned this in another thread. I believe what we got here was an event that was the results of those who complained they got each phase done in a few days and had to wait for days or more for the next phase to begin. I think somewhere in a happy median between the two scenarios would be the ideal way to go about events. People want content to hold their interest for the duration of the event but at the same time don't want to grind. I think this event crossed the line into grind. I think duration of the event is important too. If they are too long they can fail to hold the interest of players too depending on how they do the event. This time around I think that was a negative aspect. The story of each phase was a few days and then a week and a half of grind and calculating to make sure you will be able to craft everything at the end of the event. While it won't be "perfect" I think the ideal event would be to take account of the best aspects of each event to design future events. While using creativity to build upon that so as to not be a been there and done that already kind of think.

Out of all the events I've participated it, I think the Superheros one was the closest to perfect.

I think a perfect event is possible, but unlikely. Most people would probably think an event was "perfect" if there were lots of cool buildings and characters that you could win easily and lots of free doughnuts. But the problem is I don't think EA would be willing to give so much away for nothing.
