Spend donuts or wait & see if crafting continues?

I wouldn't spend donuts on these items (no multipliers) unless you really can't live without having them in your town. I'd wait and see if crafting is extended and if it isn't put it down to experience. We might even get another event really soon.

If you really want them I would use donuts and not hope for the casting to continue. But I personally would not spend donuts on these items.

Personally I don't think that I would spend donuts on said items as to me they aren't that special in my opinion, but what it comes down to is how special are they to you, if the crafting does not continue after today will you wish that you had paid for them, is it going to play on your mind that you could have got them with donuts if crafting stops later, are you saving the donuts for that special purchase, these are the sort of things you need to ask yourself.

While I don't know what to tell you about buying items, I can give you an opinion. I believe that most of the events work like this: You either spend a great deal of your time attending to your Springfieldians, or you spend actual money to accomplish some (or all) of the tasks needed. I think some, such as the Stonecutters, took a lot more effort. This event, though, is a good deal more complicated.

Just my two cents, although I gave you a nickel, so I expect 3 cents back.

The items in question just aren't that interesting, so I'd pass. I'm fairly confident crafting will continue. However, there are really two questions to ask yourself:

If it doesn't continue, can you live without them? (In a figurative sense, of course.)

If it does continue, will you regret spending the donuts?

One of the main reasons people believe that crafting will continue is because the Monsarno Farmer's license is still available for purchase until then, I believe. I know it is still available after the prizes in the next day or so. If they continue to allow the farmer's license to be purchased, then that means we must still be able to collect items from visiting neighbors. And then it would make sense that we can still craft items. But that is just speculation, nothing is definite. This is one of the most frustrating things with TSTO and EA, the failure to communicate.

Well I know I believed that the Cannon thing to shoot down Kodos was going to be available until the end of the THOH event last year (it did not specify but I thought this was a reasonable assumption). They took it off the menu two days before the end.

No telling what EA has planned. Especially since posting conflicting end dates for events seems to have become a habit with them.

Another guessing game you also have to play: will EA make these items available for donuts some time in the future? And how much will they be then?

It'd be sweet if they added something that was craftable with just corn...I hate wasting stuff and they always give us something that we get an overabundance of that we can't use (gummy bears!)

Only EA know for sure but general consensus is that nothing new is going to be added to craft.

I'm tempted to just buy the things I want until I'm satisfied with what I have, and then save the leftover materials just in case. Like, what am I going to do with an extra Gas and Grub? Its not as though I have empty land yearning to be occupied.

Its gonna be kind of rotten if EA suddenly throws in new craftables, BTW. They have levels already active that require us to "craft ten items" ... If they encourage us to deplete our crafting supplies like that and then pop in with "surprise! New craftables!" It's kind of like they're setting us up.

I was going to save some craftables, but decided not to.

Setting us up? Surely they wouldn't!

I decided to wrap it all up today. I'm going to wait a few more hours for final craft and yes, EA could do a number of things as the game has never been consistent about end of events.

We could even have another Island-gate. At least with some of the items.

Me too...... I left everyone wandering overnight and have refocused on my redesign, which is probably driving my neighbors nuts......................
