Land - Thoughts and Solutions

Prev1
I've thought this was the easy solution to the land issue for quite some time. Moving the castles to Krustyland alone would free up quite a bit of space for me! Plenty of other larger buildings would work great in Krustyland too - the Wax Museum, Toy Workshop, and Ice Palace just to name a few.

Perhaps moving stuff to Krusty Land would also make it more fun to play that part of the game. I have to admit that I rarely visit Krusty Land, but with more buildings and tasks, my interest may be rekindled.

I agree that the castles, Death Mountain and several other buildings would fit in perfectly there.

    Right.

It would be so much fun, creating theme worlds in krustyland. Medievil times, santas village, happy easter land, fairytale land,...

I'd like to see all the christmas themed items work in KL, since a Santa Village area would work quite well there. Castles too, and Sir Putts a Lot

I'd love to be able to move the castles to KL, surprised they still cant be as they are far more suited to be placed there

Agreed, I think the queen alien thing should go in krustyland and even fireworks, candy and puppies.

I think some one already mention the mini golf, but that was on my list too. I don't have the clam stage, or outdoor stage, but both those are things you would see at an amusement park.

The currency earned by anything removed to KL would switch to tickets though. And what can we spend them on? I know you can exchange tickets for in game cash so that could be an option, but I've developed a pattern of not visiting KL. I'd be happy to move my castles etc. to KL but I still use my character skins with them, which means I'd never use them. Plus Barbarian would have to live in KL, to which he currently has no access. It would be the same for holiday items etc.

Mind, I am not saying this isn't a good idea, I've thought this should be done for a while now. Just offering some things to consider.

even all the stuff from the superhero event would be great for that, and hedges for building nice park areas and a maze

Hmmmm.... Not sure if this is another "Need more land " or "Krustyland " thread.

I have all the land in KL, and am using only a small percentage of it. I love to design, and I'm not only out of room in SF, but I'm way over the recommended number of items. I would love the be able to use all the walls and hedges available in SF in KL. All that open space is just screaming to me for a giant 3D design!

Thanks for giving it the benefit of the doubt, Neo! Two big issues, where one holds the solution to the other. ....did that make sense?

Krustyland should be like my garage. Full of stuff I never use, but might need someday.

I have used all the land in my KL, and the castles are in storage except for one keep. So it wouldnt free up any land for me, but it would be good to re-organise KL and at least pull them out of my inventory.

    Good idea,

Isn't that what's called your "Inventory"?

These items could make Krustyland amazing!

Have they thus far allowed anything that earns currency in KL? If I recall correctly they've only allowed decorations.

First, my thoughts on this 'more land' obsession: Someone else said this somewhere, but it makes perfect sense to me...part of the challenge of this game is to decide what to put where, and what not to put anywhere (consequently not buying said item).

The game does not appear to be geared towards completionists who want a great design. Maybe the game is designed to be more dynamic as opposed to static, where we were originally envisioned constantly swapping things in and out depending on time of year, events, or any other whim.

Clearly the devs have heard the pleas for more land, but for whatever reason have been unable to accomodate this request. It is also in their best interest to provide us with the most space they can so we can fill it up with stuff, so there must be a reason.

This Krustyland idea seems to have some merit, however I fear there may be too much inolved to change some items into being krustyland compatible.

That I could really go for. I only visit Krustyland by accident now.

I don't think they have. That certainly may be a factor. I for one, would be perfectly happy if any currency earning items placed in KL earned tickets there.

No KL dumping ground. A new map is in order. Especially if EA wants people to continue buying stuff. Imagine how much those clutterbugs will buy if they double the land area.

I get regular money and tickets when neighbors tap buildings in KL. I have heard that other things that earn money will crash the game, however.

Here's my solution to the land problem...

Has anyone ever played the game Minecraft? Basically when a user goes a certain distance from an area so it is out of view, the game will unload the area as the world are so big. This stops the game from lagging. I feel that a similar idea could be added. When a player is not viewing a certain part of their Springfield or somebody else's then the areas that they can't see are unloaded from the game. There could also be an option for people to turn it off if their devices can handle it.

I'm a completionist and I want to use every single building in my Springfield but I don't want it to be crammed in at the same time. I think that this would be a great idea. Sure they may have to do some major code changes, but it would be worth it in the end as they're going to have to come up with a solution sooner or later.

Yes, this is the obvious and easy solution. It can't be that hard to program an item to be usable in KL.
