I would urge people to store more often when challenged with needing land. I store the buildings I don't like or like as much as others, and I never have land problems. Each time EA releases 1 strip of land, I buy it, but I just use it to embellish properties along that border. I waste land like crazy (my casino is 10 plots easy, and my go kart track is at least 20 plots of land). My mansions use at least 4 plots each, with most using much more.

I recently nuked and rebuilt my wife's town with an all new design scheme. I built a very large 3D wall that runs along 2 sides of the map (probably a waste of 30 plots of land). It's 5 stars, like mine, and has as much in storage as is displayed, like mine.

Please consider storing buildings and decorations that you don't adore and you'll notice much more land in your towns. It's not how much you have, but how you use it.

First, my thoughts on this 'more land' obsession: Someone else said this somewhere, but it makes perfect sense to me...part of the challenge of this game is to decide what to put where, and what not to put anywhere (consequently not buying said item).

The game does not appear to be geared towards completionists who want a great design. Maybe the game is designed to be more dynamic as opposed to static, where we were originally envisioned constantly swapping things in and out depending on time of year, events, or any other whim.

Clearly the devs have heard the pleas for more land, but for whatever reason have been unable to accomodate this request. It is also in their best interest to provide us with the most space they can so we can fill it up with stuff, so there must be a reason.

This Krustyland idea seems to have some merit, however I fear there may be too much inolved to change some items into being krustyland compatible.

Maybe new other Springfield holds the clue? We are just supposed to have a crime scene and tree's. My gosh does that town like tree's. I may have seen 3 shrubs. No hedges, no flowers, but lots and lots of land and tree's and they don't even own all the land/or water. Although they did manage to cough up 300 donuts for a whale, go figure. Maybe the whale means something?

I think they just need to stop trying to make the game work on older devices and give us more land in springfield. I don't like KL and don't want that to be the solution for more land. If I could sell KL and never have to think about it again I would.

Fine points from several folks here...
For those that truly appreciate the game on all levels & enjoy making the most of it, the point does seem that it's certainly in your best interest to be CREATIVE as possible & enjoy the full challenge... I continue to impress myself in finding ways to place new buildings & hold off on a few remaining pricey plots of land for future townscaping plans (also to enjoy the possibility of 'winning the silent battle' for savings) ...which however more & more does seem will happen sooner than later

Nobody visits KL anymore. Prefer the stuff in the SF town instead. It's been so long since the land expansion and we haven't had many to begin with.

Great idea to have the option to put certain items in Krustyland. Still it would only partially at best solve the need for more land in Springfield since that need fueled by buildings changes with each Event, quest and simply new buildings showing up in the store. You know you hate hiding from view great buildings that have to be put in a storage box which you spent a lot of time and/or money to obtain ! Ultimate solution ? EA makes a fortune on players like us - buy some additional servers !

For me i see it has how real life is. As i am studying to be a townplaner, i know that its not space enough for everything you want to plan and build, planing one thing, rules out the other option. So you have to find the plan that makes best use of the area available. Same is for the game, you have to make compromises and cant get everything you want. This makes the game much more fun for me as I have to decide between what to build, and how much space i want to give it.

One thing i like to do is to find buildings that works together that you can combine into what seems like one building, like the picture below

Krustyland is the answer.. I would be happy just to be able to put Stuff there.

They don't have to make money or tickets.

I have all the land in krustyland and only use a small amount of it.I don't visit other people's krustyland but I regularly visit my own.
