I told you guys math is evil!

    Stop the madness!

Besides, if you post on here that you have 50%....be prepared for even more random invites from total strangers when you haven't even posted in the add-me thread.

I'm not telling my number. My secret....or maybe I'm just too lazy to try and figure it out haha.

If you want to be even more exact about your percent bonus, go with a building that produces $200 per cycle. Divide however much you are above 200 by 2 and there you have it. This will help calculate half percents at least. Of course, the best way, albeit the least convenient would be to put a premium character on their $1000 task. This would even let you see your percentage by 0.05% increments from building the picket fence.

Let me see if i understand:

    Mausoleum produces 200 per cycle

When its done, i receive 700

    So u saying that 700/2

    350 is my percent bonus?

No, I said that you divide whatever amount you receive above the normal payout by two. So, in your example it would be 250%. If that is truly your percentage I am quite jealous and I want to see that town lol.

I tryied to figure it out, and find 366... And that is it...

About the random invites.. People can invite.. I have 61 people on my list and will not add more than that. Really, i will delete some rushed people, who are at lvl 24, and dont have even krabappel's apartment.. I hate rushed people...

Good thing we aren't friends then because you would delete me.

I have been level 24 for over a month and just now finished building Muntz House. I didn't rush, I took my time. I have a very large Springfield but my OCD will not allow me just throw down buildings. I have to have the land and the place where they are going decorated and designed before I start the building.

Sooo....lol....not all of those who don't have the Krabappel apartment are rushed....some of us are playing this at more leisurely pace so we can enjoy it longer.

'Rushed' would have 2 meaning in this situation
    1. You rushed through all the levels
    2. You rushed to get all the items
So lefreeze you are partly wrong

    Lefreeze is lebrat hahaha lol.

Rushed to me is level 24, still house farming and everything crammed into a teeny tiny plot of land. But maybe that looks good to them? Shrug....to each their own!

And on the subject of math. I think ya'll are missing a step somewhere. Seems to me that the decimal point is not being moved when doing the calculations. 250% bonus? Seriously? Do you have millions banked? Probably more like 2.5% or whichever way you move that stupid dot lol maybe 25%.

If he is really making 700 off of a building that normally produces 200, then its definitely a 250% bonus. Sounds to me like someone either has way too much money for their own good or a jailbroken device with a crazy supply of donuts. In order to even touch a percentage like that, all dumpsters, benches, fences, trees, bushes, etc. would have to be the premium version and that's without the vehicles, reindeer, and other random deco.

Yeah I'm a little confused here too! I just don't understand how you have so much premium decorations, but math is not my strong point so ill just gracefully bow out of this convo.

Is the math really that difficult? We're not talking vector calculus here. Bust out a three dimensional line integral and I could see the issue, but figuring out percentages?

Here you go in the simplest formula I can think of.

    ((Collected Amount / Base Amount) - 1) x 100% = Bonus Percentage

    Example, Gulp-n-Blow

    Collected Amount = $123
    Base Amount = $100

    $123/$100 = 1.23
    1.23 - 1 = 0.23
    0.23 x 100% = 23%

    Therefore Bonus Percentage = 23%

I think if you just click on the stars in your town it says it!

That's only the bonus you get from the stars. It doesn't count the bonus from premium items like fences or benches...

    Good to know. Thanks

Wait till you get Krabapple! Makes Nelsons tasks look like a walk in the park. Endless isn't even the word.

    7%
I can only account for 5.5% though
    4 for conformity
    1 for 2 reindeers
    0.5 for a burning bush...

And please. Do not start thi s**t about jailbroken device, or friendship with hakcer

I have a good and expensive account to pay for itunes every month, and if i like to spend my money ( no its not mommy or daddy card), it's my decision...
