4) I've explained my suspicions for jblue, and it just so happens that blue is also a veteran player. I think that pollard could have used blue as a target instead of himself like TGH hammer did in the wonderland game with Annette. Jblue and pollard both aren't stupid, and potentially knew that this could work. If I'm right, it's working.
I'm not making these accusations to rid good players, I'm making them to see possibilities. Jblue as a villain is a possibility and there's a 1 in 14 chance. I'll have more time to play this week as I'm on summer holiday so please don't do what you always do and vote me out when I've got loads more time to play. And yes I'm innocent. Johnny, you've made a mistake.
This isn't helping...
You're right, neither is stupid that's why they wouldn't do what you're suggesting. Pollard was on his way out. He was trying to pin anything on anyone else. His best bet was to use a "hint" from the story. It was his only possible way of deflecting. Now, if he was right and everyone voted Blue, who knows BUT in my opinion he would have still been killed by Bart/Homer that night or lynched by us the next day. Villains want villains dead. If Blue was killed and she was a villain there still would be no reason to not vote Pollard the next day. I would have.
This would make for a dead team. Something two smart players wouldn't do...
I haven't even mentioned the fact that Blue has been gone for a few games. Does anyone really think she would agree on taking the lynch for her partner so early in the game. We're talking the second day!
I think most people know how much I use odds and probabilities. 1 in 14! What the hell is this. Those are terrible odds. I assume you mean there is a 1 in 14 chance that she is Pollards partner. It seems you've "forgotten" about the possibility that she could be Homer or Bart...
Now that's pretty damn incriminating...
Just to be clear Barry what are you referring to?
If it's the same catch I had, I know what my vote is.
He says Jblue has a 1 in 14 chance of being a villain. So she has no chance on being Homer or Bart? Yeah I think I'm voting for Wilki the next time I can get on my computer
Yukon: I was wrong about Juliet, but I still think I'm right about Pollard's partner being someone who was dismissive of the bandwagon. If she wasn't in prison, YG would almost certainly say "but I'm always against bandwagons  ". To which I would reply "This is true. Which also makes it the perfect cover. Also, why didn't you say anything when the bandwagon was mounting against Juliet?"
This is very interesting... and she was on my suspect list for pollard's partner. Not sure if it's enough for a vote or not, have to think on it.
Now now wilki... seems hell bent that I'm pollard's partner, but as johnny said that would be a real stupid strategy and I am determined to finish one of these dang games! No way if I was a villain would I tell my partner to vote for me. But I don't think wilki is pollard's partner as I said before, and he's really putting himself out there if he is homer/bart.
I guess though if he is homer/bart it would be a win win, since when he finds out I'm not, he has gotten rid of me and still has the next night kill to try for pollard's partner again.
So does anyone else have any ideas about who's suspicious?
Well there's a lot of people laying low (and probably laughing their arses off) like crosby, anna, smohqy, etc. If anything their silence is highly suspicious.
That bourbon part of the last morning message is still stuck in my craw. There was way too much information there to just be part of the story. I don't think it points at jae, that would be way too obvious. It may be pointing at someone as a villain but it might be a bit early in the game for that. Brown, delicious, tempting; all those words were used to describe the bourbon that killed lionel hutz (roses). Who or what is brown, delicious and tempting? As far as I know there's nothing but a bunch of honkeys that post here right
So, Wiggum (and by extension all of us) were blinded by blue on the day that Annette was killed. And who voted for Annette? JBLUE. There is no way that that's a coincidence. I know who my forced vote is going to.
Oh my gosh. The stupid vote color, wow. Thought I actually had something useful there. Well 0 for 2. At least I'm trying. Looks like we're going to lose two more innocents as crosby is MIA with a forced vote. Anyone have ANY ideas?
If he was voting to try to save himself, wouldn't it make more sense to vote for any of the players with one vote already against them?
So... 2 things and I'm not sure which way to go:
Was he mentioning names of players to get the rest to us to pay attention and suspect them instead of him and his partner OR should we be looking at the name he didn't mention?
At the point he mentioned those names, he had 3 votes against him and there was no runner-up with 2 votes. It's not out of the realm of possibility that he mentioned his partner so that when we find out he's a villain, we wouldn't be looking at the players he found suspect.
For the folks who like lists:
mentioned:
Juliet (first vote)
Blue (second vote)
Wij (third vote)
Jae ("too obvious" bourbon reference)
"laying low"/silent:
Anna
Crosby
Johnny
Smohqy
Zainh
not mentioned:
Barry
Fmust
Ghall
Henpot
Mary
Wilki
Yukon
I like where your head is at with this thought process but I think you needed to check the votes, vote by vote.
Smohqy had a vote against Blue when Pollard voted for her. Smohqy's vote was removed.
What this does tell me is that Blue is almost definitely not Pollards partner.
He actually used a reason to vote for her hoping others would follow. I don't think it was a partnership bluff. Much too risky this early in the game.
I see what you're saying but something about the voting doesn't make sense to me. :? He had a reason when he voted for Blue. Right before that vote, he said any player that was quiet was suspicious so why not vote for one of them. That would be a reasonable explanation for a vote. He could've easily voted for any other player with one vote against them but he voted for Wij (who had 0 votes) in the end.

If I had to guess...
I'd say he initially put out the "quiet" names to read the room. I don't think enough people reacted to that suspicion to take it anywhere. He needed actual evidence that would outweigh the evidence on him. There was a "clue" about Blue, says Pollard. He is confident. He votes Blue putting her in second place. At this point, he only needs one person to agree making the votes tied. His partner would have tipped the scale if no one else jumped on board. Instead, the "blue clue" was shot down. He had to move to the next person that he might take the heat. Wij. Wij probably seemed like an easy target or the only target after the avatar/location thing. No one jumped on board.
I don't know where all this is coming from about my "odds of blue being a villain is 1 in 14. There's 14 players left, jblue is one of them. Maybe I made a mistake with my maths, thinking back on it, but yes, there's a 3 in 14 chance, due to there being 14 roles. I was thinking about people rather than characters. It's confusing, but it looks like I've signed my own death warrant because I said 1 in 14. I'm sorry I wasn't thinking properly, but I can assure you, with all my heart that I'm not a villain (I really want to play this week as I'm off and you always vote me off in my holiday) if I'm getting voted off at least wait a few ingame days.
I have a feeling that Johnny is innocent, but Barry stands out to me as suspicious at the moment. I'm straying away from the idea of blue due to her reaction, but it doesn't mean she's off the hook.
Trust me on this one, I'm not a villain and don't know anyone who is. Anyone could be a villain, anyone but me.
Full disclosure: trying to play this game different than the last two games, in post methodology, Public assumptions, and just because it's more interesting.
I am innocent, if you are a villain, vote me out. Easy target. If the vote were today.. I am voting Wilki.
If Wilki is innocent.. Then 2 people seem mighty suspicious. They have been cautiously supporting each other.
Now.. I have a beer to attend to. I'll be watching you lugs.
(As stated for now, my vote now is going Wilki.. Please logically change my mind if you can. )

Ok, here goes my best effort.
Think about it, I've been sharing gameplay of villains that I noticed throughout my time as GL. If I were a villain, I wouldn't reveal that information until the next game that I was innocent.
I've not directly defended anyone. I can't remember if I've been a villain once or twice, but the game I partnered Lynn, I was defensive of her. Every game I've had a partner, I've been defensive of them. It's the way I play, I don't physically try to change my gameplay, although I'll admit that it has changed since the early games as I'm not as wild with accusations anymore.
I know Johnny is a good player, and no one has leapt to my defence yet, but I am begging you, there is one logical reason to not vote me out: the fact that my pm tells me that I am innocent.
Please note: although making a mistake about the odds, i have been 100% honest in this game and have not told a single lie. You will see that if you vote me out which you probably will.
I don't know if to go with my gut that's telling me to vote Johnny or my head that's telling me Barry...
I don't know whether I actually believe that Wilki made a silly math mistake, or if that's an excuse. :?
I'm starting to question myself. I hate that!
I can't stand this lack of participation. I'm tempted to give Wilki a few days? I might be removing this vote but I still have a forced vote. I'm tempted to vote for someone that has been overly quiet or unhelpful.
Does anyone have a good idea of players that have been consistently quiet?
It's a hunch, but there's two reasons why I'm voting Barry.
The first stems back to the fact that he voted wijsheid during his silence and it sort of got overlooked - could he have been targeting wijsheid at his most vulnerable? I don't know, but even if wijsheid is a villain, it's not fair if he doesn't have a chance to defend himself.
The second reason is because he followed Johnny. Yes, Johnny is one of the best players at this game (despite the fact he voted for me lol) but it was suspicious that he waited for Johnny to throw his accusation before doing anything. Like pollard said, if I'm innocent (which I am) then something suspicious is going on with those two.
A hunch, yes, and I'm not going to stop playing the game because I'm under suspicion. I've nothing to hide.

I was suspicious of this as well. Barry was TT'd as a caveman in a previous CG (it was as brutal for all of us to figure out as it was for him to post) and I'm surprised he targeted Wij, who was silenced, so early in the game. Having said that, I feel like anyone who says anything becomes suspicious, and those who are not participating as much get a free ride. I haven't exactly been prolific, but I've tried to chime in when I have something to say.

I did ask Barry why he voted Wij a fair few posts ago, never got an answer
I'm also suspicious that Juliet was targeted during the last day, and not Yukon, who seemed to defend Pollard (and the whole band wagon argument), when Juliet simply said she didn't like getting a vote but was ok with it. And there were no comments about band wagoning Juliet. Just talking out loud here, to perhaps start a conversation... if anyone's around.

Good to know, Hen. I'd like to hear his response as well.
Well there is one vote for Wilki and one vote for Barry.
I am most likely going to take a forced vote as I have no suspects. Everyone seems to be behaving like everyone else so hard to distinguish any suspicious behavior. I don't think Wilki's math error isn't enough for me to vote for him, but looks like he will get voted out.

Glad to be unsilenced. I'll admit, I completely forgot that it was only one post allowed. I must have misread the message or something. I am leaning towards wilki right now because of some suspicious things he's said (and a bit of a gut feeling), but I won't put a vote in for him just yet.
