Hey Smoqhy- are you out there?!

You should probably come talk to us, you're in danger of being lynched!

Ok, Johnny. I read back through your posts, and I've gotta say, I'm not necessarily sold on the argument that Smoqhy is a villain. I can't guarantee that he's innocent, but I'm not super convinced either. At this point, I'm not going to be voting for him, since he's leading with the majority of votes anyhow. Even if he is guilty, there is at least one more person out there who needs their feathers ruffled. :P

I will say, I have seen you go back and forth on Wilki a lot. Now, I know the two of you can't be partners, because there's no intact villain team left, but if that wasn't the case I would be extra suspicious right now. ;)

For now I'm placing my money on Anna. I don't feel like I can clear her as either Bart or Lisa, and I haven't found her defense of herself particularly convincing. As always, I reserve the right to change my mind if a theory I like better comes along, or if she sells me on her innocence.

I've been going through Yukon's posts since she's the one with info. I'm debating between 2 names right now and this post (from 7/22) was interesting:
    Thanks, Yukon.
That tells me that Anna isn't checking PMs. When I've had partners, that's the first thing I did when online....

Could be good strategy as well....

Not acknowledging a PM about being silenced, to make people think she wasn't getting PM's from anyone, a partner included....

Yukon was right, that is a smart strategy. I wish she could come back and tell us whether she was speculating or trying to share info she learned. :?

Hey guys! I see you have your pitchforks sharpened and your torches lit. It's kinda hard to defend one's self against that. But I have to try, not only because I'm innocent, but because there's still two villains out there. And I feel that they were the first ones who posted on this day. Wilki and johnny. johnny is mainly a hunch. He's been a good and informative ringleader for this circus, and it seems that, until recently, everybody trusts him. Of course, we all want to be trusted, but how many of us have actively pleaded for just a couple more days to prove that they're right with their theories? Not I. Not most of the other players either. johnny has. Even Wilki has. Sure, everybody defends themselves, like I am now, but I'm not going to be begging for just another day or two to prove that I'm right. (I also won't, after what looks to be my inevitable death tonight, be posting leading images such as a smohqing skeleton like Windshield did.) No, I'll leave the hard work of making everyone believe theory upon theory to the people who need you to think they're innocent. I will, however, tell you the reasoning behind my recent votes, theory and hunch.

I voted for johnny the previous day, partly because I had to vote, partly on the hunch that johnny's been giving a lot of info that others have based votes on thus steering suspicion away from himself, but mostly because I couldn't in all good conscience vote for someone I felt to be innocent. Remember, I was on the chopping block the day before and was sure I would be yesterday as well. I could've voted Yukon when I was sure to be lynched to add distance between myself and death. But I didn't. I voted what I felt was right. I was glad to survive, and surprised I wasn't killed at night. I was silenced, though. Which takes us to my one 160 (exactly!) character message yesterday.

    First, let me translate this:
    smohqy wrote:
Ppl, THINK! I voted jon. Then im silenced. jon silnc me? No, jon 2 smrt. Make him look suspcs. So who want jon lk susp? Sum1 jon trgtd. He trgtd wilk hard. Wilk silnc me, ppl thnk jon did it n vote jon.

    ++wilki
C'mon guys, I don't have a lot of characters, so I need you to think hard about this. I voted for johnny instead of saving my ****. The next day it turns out somebody silenced me. Would johnny do that to keep me from causing more suspicion to fall on him because of my simple hunch? I doubt it, he's smart enough to realize that after receiving a vote from me - the FIRST vote against him since day one's vote by fmust, I might add - people might think that he silenced me. So, who else is out there who might want people to think johnny silenced me? Someone he has targeted and likely will target again if I die or convince others of my innocence. Wilki strongly fits the criteria of being smart enough to secretly make johnny look suspicious and being somebody johnny has suspected AND continues to suspect. So, instead of voting for johnny*, I vote for Wilki.

    Purple bold plus plus Wilki

*which I kind of regret now as it might've saved Yukon. But I had to vote what I felt.

So I must ask, what kind of villain would vote - not once, but twice - against a sense of self-preservation? No kind I can imagine. I voted my hunch and my reasoning, not to save myself.

Oh yeah, this is turning into a wall of text. Let me hit one more point before I get to today.

johnny now claims he kinda forgets the main reason he targeted me. He 'thinks' it was because I voted for Crosby. Why is that suspicious? Crosby wound up being a villain. AFAIK, everybody wants a villain dead except for the villain himself or his partner. If I'm innocent or on the other villain's team, I would gladly give a reason why I voted... for a villain! And I did. I gave the truth. It was random. But the first reason johnny stated made him suspicious of me was that I asked if villains kill at night. Knowing that I had been a villain in the last game, that was a suspicious comment by me. And a great catch by johnny, were it a real slip. Unfortunately it was just poor wording on my part. I merely meant do villains kill at night in every CG, this only being my second. Now both johnny and Wilki have voted for me today. Of course they did, villains want innocents dead! Especially when it's as easy as just saying someone's name often enough.

    Now let's look at today:
    wilki1999 wrote:
It's a shame to lose Mary C, wonder why she was targeted? I said yesterday that I'm confident smoqhy is a villain so he is my vote today. ++smoqhy

The way he reacted, he voted me as well. Johnny has been after him all game and he votes me, why? to dodge suspicion.
This doesn't mean Johnny is off the hook as he is still one of my prime suspects.

And I'm not the silencer or a villain.

    Hmm, misdirection?

Not really. You voted for johnny and said that if johnny is voted of innocent, then you'll vote for me. If you voted for johnny (the day after I did, btw... hoping I'd add to that count no doubt), exactly how confident does that make you sound?

The way I reacted? I voted for you because the silencing seemed designed to make johnny look suspicious. I could be wrong about that, but I voted how I felt. Not because you were one of many who became suspicious of me because of johnny.

    I agree about Smohqy.
If Smohqy or you would have gotten me lynched, it would have looked bad. I think either of you would have been the next lynch target. I think the villains were sitting back watching, yesterday.
I put Wilki on the Bart list but I know he can't be a villain.

Smohqy has done nothing but make me suspicious.

    ++smohqy

How would that look bad? I thought we were supposed to kill the bad guys. Anyway, even if you were lynched and innocent, things don't look too good for me right now. I'm not afraid of how my votes make me look. I'm voting my gut, not my safety.

Is this more suspicion? Or waffling again? I can't tell. You've been gunning for Wilk much longer than I have. That's why I think he wanted you to look suspicious by silencing me.

How? By mis-stating something? Or voting for a villain well before his death? Can you remember yet?

Anyway, that's my case. If I'm deemed suspicious and lynched because I

    A) Mistyped a question,

    B) Randomly voted for a player who turned out to be a villain - a villain that was later killed without my vote,

    C) Dangerously voted with my gut instead of voting self-preservation twice in a row,

then it's been a pleasure, and the villains are that much closer to winning.

I hope my reasoning will let me survive today's votes. But even if it does, I doubt I'll survive the night. Follow your gut and your mind, people. I have.

Screw it.. For some reason I believe Smoq. I probably know him best of everyone. We were team villains in the last game. This message is true to form for him.

    I do not think he's a villain.

    Damn it.

Edit: might as well put my chips in.

    ++Wilki

I think the end of the day Actions and the message from B is enough.
J my last minute vote for YG was to keep you from what I thought was your death.. Who would have Died had you not pulled the vote you placed to save yourself?

    Wilki.

    Edit to bold my vote.

Oh man. I was on the fence about Smoqhy, but I find his argument that a villain would never pass up the opportunity for a self preservation vote very compelling. I especially find this convincing because the second time he did it he would have been the last living villain on his team. Meaning that failing to vote in self defense would be essentially sacrificing his team's chance of winning.

I still have my eye on Anna, but she is almost certainly not going to get lynched today no matter what. & I'm starting to believe that Smoqhy is worth saving. IMO Wilki is a more likely suspect than Smoq.

Brandon, I don't mean to seem presumptuous, but I just wanted to point out in case you didn't catch it. You and jae were posting at close to the same time. The votes have changed. It's currently 3 for me and 3 for Wilki. The vote for Anna was removed.

Again, not trying to be pushy or anything. It's just that I'm going to bed soon, and my life is on the line.

It's quiet here today, only 2 hours left of the day. Looks like fmust is going to have the final say as she's on a forced vote. Mary still hasn't voted either, but I can assure you that I'm no villain. I'm 100% innocent. Even Johnny continued to tell everyone that I was innocent, even when I was after him, that's a bold thing to do, as it would have been easy for him to call me a villain, but insisted my innocence

It confuses me why four people have voted for an innocent person. A villain can lie and make things up. Smoqhy was a villain last game remember, he knows what he's doing. I'm begging you all, at least vote for someone with a chance of being a villain, not just me through a hunch. Everyone is going with a crowd, and if you don't, you pay for it.
