So I've been playing on and off for a little over a year and a half. Started right after Holloween 2013. I'd always toyed with the idea of being a premium member but I always felt it was too pricey so I'd just been saving up donuts and buying what I could here and there. Meanwhile though I'd downloaded one of those apps that give you credit for downloading apps and surprisingly I'd racked up $30 on there.

So this event comes along and I start playing it steadily and then I realize two things. Out of my neighbors I'm #1 :D with just like a day playing haha and there's people that already have five star teams.

Anyway it's been a while now and have managed to retain my top spot. It's nowhere near what I've seen people on here who have 200 plus wins but I still feel proud and the competition has really kept me interested. Also I finally took the plunge and added $20 real money to buy the $50 donuts. I've never been more interested in tapped out. So yeah just wanted to share that.

Oh I guess one more thing, other than the football uprights and MAYBE a soccer net I have absolutely no interest in the things you can get with amateur bucks. Anybody else feeling like that? I might just keep leveling my team cuz I'm having more fun with that.

It's nice too see someone having fun playing. I too like the event. You have the right attitude, play the parts that are fun For you, and don't worry about the crap that does not appeal to you.

JimJ would approve of your happy tapping.. As do I.

Thanks, I mean that, great to see people saying something positive

Right before this event I bought my first boatload of donuts. Premium is a different world. I still have my totally freemium B-town. And now my competition C-Town. (Race to the Finish thread).

I don't care where I am on the leader board. All tap-ball games give AB to both. Being near the top is only good for bragging rights. But I understand the thrill of the win.

I'm probably not going to buy extras of anything from the shop. We win most of it anyway, right?

Of course there are people with 5 stars.

    Really like this event!

Oh man I'm really wanting to buy MOOOOOAAR donuts but I know this is a slippery road. There are three big buys I didn't make cuz I wanted smaller stuff better but I really want Duff Brewery, Barney Bowling and Frink's Lab.

With my buy I got: Tatum, Jasper, Lurleen, Milhouse mom and Apu's Wife and Kashmir

While this event is a little 'meh' for me, I certainly don't hate it. I really don't get those people saying this is the same as Easter 2014. That's just silly.

Like you said, enjoy it for what it is, and take the good that comes. We're getting a nice assortment of skins. The obstacle course stuff will be nice in the sports complex I'm planning for mine. Will be able to make a soccer field with the nets, and a high school football field with the goal posts. Ally McBalls is working nicely in my Mall layout, as will the bowling game and boxing video game. The light poles can be used multiple ways. Springy is...there...i guess.

On the Premium side, Furious D and the Bart Jockey skin are great, despite the one-off episode they came from. Phase three's got a very large item i've been wanting for a while now too.

All said, not the most exciting event ever, but still getting some nice add-ons.

Great to see so many happy tappers! A refreshing change from the angry threads. Personally, I have been happily tapping for the first two stages of this event and no sign of slowing down in sight!

This event is definitely top 3 for me. I cannot wait to put together a huge sports complex.

It's not in my top 3, but I'm having a blast making my sports complex! I am looking forward to the rest of the stadium pieces.

I started out not enjoying this event very much, but this event has since started growing on me and now I'm liking it quite a bit as well! :D

I'm enjoying the event. At least it's better than the Terwilliger event which was tedious.

The Terwilliger event was too stressful for me especially cuz I messed up early on and then had to spend the rest of the time tryin to catch up to where I should have been. I think my favorite event was super hero as I had always wanted Bartman since beginning to play Tapped Out.

I agree. I'm enjoying this event as well.

I just wish they would have released more playable characters. We only got 1 for this event (Furious D)

Some other sports related characters would have been awesome...

    Lucius Sweet
    Stan Taylor
    Buck Mitchell
    Howard K. Duff VIII

Glad to see a positive thread with so many happy tappers. There seem to be a lot of complaints during events, its always nice to see others are enjoying the game as much as I do.

And I agree with brogames, some really great animations and visual tasks this event

It's a good event but I'd like more cow bell.

Also more soccer balls as this is seeming to be very slow earning of them.

This is only my second event, and the first where I had enough characters to reasonably achieve anything. I like the obstacle course stuff for sure, could always use a couple buildings, and I'm just doing what I can as far as making executive decisions over assigning tasks and where to spend the amateur dollars and such. Up until today, I was just along for the ride, to see where it went, pick up a few things to build my SF with. When I saw the prizes, I sort of "preferred" the obstacle course items & skins, figured the rest would be nigh useless towards my vision of my SF. (Although I really really want some of those community prizes... but I'll survive without them too.)

Then I got awarded one (1) Springy earlier today. I really like Springy. I don't know exactly why, but every time I see him happily bounding down the sidewalk with all the energy he's got... it cheers me up and I smile automatically. It's been a bad week, but... Springy! Teehee, oh noes, don't go there, Snake has a gun! I must admit, I have spent more time watching Springy on my Galaxy than I have doing what I was (allegedly) supposed to be doing in the first place.

Springy is awesome. He's the underdog prize who went full Cinderella in this Tapball tourney, as far as I see it.
