Hmmmmm.....ha gotta love the argument "but it's called tapped out".......
I'm tempted to visit people who say this and kick their balls about......and kick them again.....and again and again, until I'm too tapped out to kick them any more.
Then I'll ask them if they'd like the same again tomorrow....and every day onwards........or will one kick a day do the job?
I was always in the "...but it's called tapped out" school on this topic, even though I've found collecting rent to be an increasingly more tedious chore over time.
After using this feature on FG:TQFS, I have to say, I don't understand why we don't have it on TSTO. TinyCo is worse than pondscum, but I love this feature and think it improves things considerably. Why not simplify an incredibly tedious aspect of gameplay?
As it stands right now, rent collection is not only a chore for the player--it also makes things harder for one's neighbors. Might as well make it easier to collect from one's own buildings and give neighbors something else to tap on, e.g., characters, like during Valentines 2014.

Funny you should say that because house collecting at this point is very tedious on both games. I tend to do some and leave the rest because I have so much money I couldn't care less about collecting very single building (both games).
I like that it's just the buildings and gives you a total amount collected. Leaves me to work on characters which is much more important than getting every single building. I have so much land in simpsons and everything kinda spread out it would be nice to just click the one button to collect cash from buildings...I mean it's not like you won't get enough tap out of visiting friends, and setting characters.
And it really wouldn't be copying since this idea has been floating around here for quite some time.
Oh and to the person mentioning the Futurama game coming out, I don't think it's not going to be EA, weird huh...

This is probably a large change. While we've seen it for Valentine's Day - we've also seen the problems with that. Those lower level towns with fewer characters and having less characters to tap on.
No idea if FG lets neighbors use the same characters or not between multiple neighbors (only have 1 active friend on FG left now).
I'd rather it be the characters as those seem easier to use at times.
Absofreakenlutley on the zoom. I actually came here to say that. It would be nice to see what my Springfield looks like without the pain of bimostitch. Not to mention it would make building so much better. You can see and plan the area rather than building in small chunks.
Lets NOT do a collect aLl button. Lazy lazy people.
how is it lazy? It can take me 30 mins to collect everything, grab all my characters, and reset them all. I would love a collect all button to speed that up. Sometimes I just don't have the time for it!It's honestly made me not play as much during non event periods.
Edit to add: I even partially stopped reading the dialogue for time sake.
also, FG has a collect all button!? how'd I miss that 0_o
I think it just happened yesterday, so that might be why
Oh yeah, haven't played since they started an event the same day they ended their last event. Ugh
Yea I thought about not playing the event, but it was Magic Mike... I'll admit I wanted him and the skins, luckily it ends today. They need to cut that out, space some events out.

they need land. I have so many buildings and no place to put them. It is ridiculous.
It's a very welcome feature, I assure you. Works great. Would love a version for this game.
Indeed. While we're at it, Tapped Out also need to have cars that move on the streets like FG game and VOICED characters for regular characters of the show.
the family guy game wipes the floor with tapped out when it comes to the audio

While yes they do need land, but I think the massive amount of items in the game is causing crashing and non-loading issues. They hit that cap in like a year, where it takes years of TSTO to hit the initial limit.
While we are on the subject of ripping off family guy, tapped out needs the "go" button.
In FG when a character needs a building or decoration for a task that is not in the town there is a go button on that task. Pressing the go button brings you to that item in either your inventory if you have the item stored or the shop if you do not.

they even have voiced celebrity characters
Which is why it is so expensive. Which everyone hates...

Really? I haven't had any crash issues with the FG Game. I have way more issues with TO

And yes, it really shouldn't be too hard to implement that. And of course a collect all button.
