All of them. Which is why I play with the sound off.

But I guess I especially hate it when you're collecting from characters or sending them on tasks, and they talk over each other. I can't STAND it.

Same here, its like the game can't keep up with the tapping.
Therefore always sound off ( and also otherwise my toddlers come looking and wanna tap to ;) i'm not risking my donuts!)

For the most part I really like the noises, sound effects and dialogue in the game and the noises the buildings make frequently make me smile.

But, like you OP, I really can't stand the Meet His Raker sound effect, to the extent that I no longer send Bob on that quest even though I'm an hourly player and lose money because of it. In my SF, Bob can now be permanently found performing at the opera

Your mom can't keep up with the tapping!

(I'm sorry, I don't mean that. And the joke likely won't be understood in French or Dutch. But I HAD to make. It was too perfect)

The audio is my favorite part of the game, but there are a few things that bother me. The worst is one of the earlier buildings in the game: I hate the piercing siren of the Police Station. I try to never tap it. Not terribly fond of the Penitentiary either, but it is not as bad.

Also, while it is appropriate that Bart yells "Cowabunga!", I wish the level on that sound clip was lower. It is just too loud.

There are a few others, but these are trifles. Given how many sound-generating items there are, I am surprised that I like the vast majority of them. I can understand people taking issue with the rakes, but not me. It is just too funny for me not to love it. Though I would not object if they changed it; get rid of some of the metallic sound. Just leave a nice "Thwack"!

Attention mods, this topic is about SOUND. It is completely different than the eyesore thread, which is about visuals.

    Topic:

One sound in the game that really annoys is when Sideshow Bob Meets His Raker. The rake sound is loud and obnoxious.
Can this sound PLEASE be turned down, or happen less frequently during the task?

What sounds in the game do you dislike?

    Hi From a mod.
You can turn down game and or music sounds from inside the game in your device.

OP: I had the same idea for a thread but was too lazy to make one. Glad someone else had a grievance regarding some of the sounds.

Lenny's and Ralph's audio tracks grind on me every time I hear them.

The strip club's and Opera Stage's audio annoys the heck out of me, I hate the sounds

For me it has to be Arnie Pye, don't know what it is but his voice has the same effect on me like squeaking chalk on a black board does to some people.

"I'll do anything. And I mean anything" (It just sounds dirty. And coming from an underage kid too. I wonder if Rod/Todd(?) knows what those words can imply.

The 'dying person' hospital sound byte.

    Krusty's voice.

My most hated sound is rod or Todd ( can't remember which) when he says "I'll do anything....and I mean anything"

That's just wrong wrong wrong, on every level imaginable!

I Love the sound of sideshow bob thwacking into rakes btw!
That's my favourite in the game.......pity it does have his reaction sound to go with it, Yanno, the one from the episode.

The mods originally merged my thread called Earsores with the Eyesores thread because they thought it was the same thing. I reposted it.

    2.Anything Arnie Pye says
