Building Income Icon Question

Can someone explain why the icons over a building that indicate the income is ready for collection seem a little haphazard? There are Menus, Cash Registers, Stacks of Cash and Dollar Signs. I can see why a restaurant would have a Menu icon or a store having a Cash Register but this isn't always the case. I thought maybe it was a freemium vs premium thing but that theory quickly fell apart. So what determines which icon a building will have?

I really hadn't noticed. But the icons floating over the buildings are what ever EA assigns the building category. Occasionally they will change one to better reflect what it actually is. Hope that helps.

I think it reflects the category it adds points to in the Conform-o-meter.
