We will for sure get a big event or expansion inbetween.

If you look at all updates there's has been a pattern.
2012:
-big event (Halloween) October
-big event (Christmas) December

2013:

-big event (valentines) February
-big event (whacking day) April
-big expansion (squidport) June
-big expansion (krustylamd) August (July 31st)
-big event (Halloween) Octobers
-big event (Christmas) December

2014:

-big event (valentines) February
-big event (Easter) April
-big event (Stonecutters) June
-big event (clash of clones) August
-big event (Halloween) October
-big event (Christmas) December

2015

-big event (superheroes) February (valentines was a mini event)
-big event (terwilligers) April
-big event (sports/tapball) June
-??? (???) Most likely August
The following is most likely to be released around the same time as the last years:
-big event (Halloween) October
-big event (Christmas) december

You see how every big thing has been released around the same month. Even in 2012!

It's a bit weird that the event ends at 5pm GMT, I don't think they have ever done that before and we usually get an update around 9pm GMT so we could get an update tommorow. It's almost to the day that we got the krustyland and yard sale updates last year.
