Maybe one to watch out for

I was going to move some items into Springfield heights from Springfield...

I moved the the banana dictatorship and lost 25 donuts

Then moved the mApple store, and lost 23 donuts

I've been in chat with ea support and apparently it's an known issue, so just to keep you all in the loop....

Watch this space

    I lost all my 36 donuts. Didn't mocemove anything to SH from SF but still lost them. Just been putting characters on jobs for coffee phones and furniture.
    Did they say anything about getting the donuts back?

    I just bought 330 Donuts and now I have 192!!! Contacting support now....

    Same here had 148 did nothing now have 74.contacted support cut and past reply we will get back to you

    This is a scary thought... should I be holding off on doing anything in Springfield Heights? I really don't want to have to deal with EA's customer "service"...

    That is scary. I haven't updated yet and now I'm afraid to. How widespread is the doughnut loss?

    I haven't updated yet either, glad I didn't. I want a few more AB's and some overrtime boxes before I cross over. Plus I never get tired of seeing overtime spelled wrong.

    I haven't lost any yet, but I'm going to hold off moving items to SH if that is the cause of the problem.

    My roads were all tore up after the update....it took forever to fix and I can't do anything about the ones on the sand or the missing roads on the far right on the last new strip of land. It won't let me place anything

    Its getting worse 148 down to 74 just gone back in and its 68 at this rate I will have none left in a few hours. i know its not me as I have checked the donut confirm spend is on and working

    Support gave me my donuts back. Not sure if a fix is coming, but EA support gave me my donuts back.

    Purchased a section of land in the new SH for 15 coffee cups and lost 10 donuts!

    ... yeah, until this is fixed, I'm not even sending Homer to open the tunnel. Don't wanna risk it.

    I just lost 94 donuts! I had 145 and now have 51! I didn't spend it on anything. What do I do now?

    I asked support about the problem and if I could get my donuts back.

    Their answer:
    "I have checked the issue with the specialist team about the missing donuts .
    And they say that currently there have been a few known donut issues with the latest update.
    And the issue was reported to the Studio team , the team is working upon this to get it fixed for our players.
    Meantime I request you to please have patience and wait for an update from the team as we have received an update from the team on this issue that the issue will be fixed soon .
    I wish I could add the donuts from my end for you but as we have been updated by the team so I request you to please wait for the update as I am quite positive the issue will be fixed soon ."

    Me:
    "Are you sure we'll get our donuts back automatically with the update?"

    Them:
    "The team will do the best possible for all the players .
    And no need to worry in case the issue is not fixed for you please get back to us with the case id XXXXXXX"


    Sounds like they were advised not to issue donut refunds until the issue is resolved. I'm not sure if that's suggesting the update will fix the donuts automatically or not. A few years ago a similar issue caused me to lose over a hundred donuts and the update did bring them back (and I hadn't even contacted EA!),.. so.. here's to hoping.

    Now not playing until I see an update.
