Inside Buildings, just an idea

That's like the Sims, which I have long been a fan of so of course I would love it. I used to try to build the Simpsons house in my Sims game and design it inside as close to the show as I could.

Imagine the drain.. already we're getting warning notices about having too many items (when they keep releasing loads!), with this option they would have to make the game - or part of it - unavailable on some devices.

Agree. I kind of love the idea, and still I don't. Maybe starstrucsims is on to something: It would be a great game, but not THIS game? I probably would play it, but I can't imagine it "on top of" Tapped out. Maybe I'll just buy the LEGO :)

Agree it would probably work best as its own game. When I did my Sims houses, each house interior can be as complex as a town. For instance, the Simpson's house has the living room, dining room, kitchen, television room, 4 bedrooms, basement, as well as the garage and the outside. If you place every item in the house, that's a lot.
Always wanted the "Sims Simpsons" though, and still love that idea.

I feel my shoulders rise thinking that I have to organize the actual buildings between events, and then do an interior design job for each. I would buy the Sims Simpsons, though

Yes indeed, it might be better as a separate game... But then it feels like doing it all again, considering we have now a pretty complete Springfield (sort of). And it doesn't have to be as detailed as a Sims-type environment, to reduce the amount of new items and expansions required. I would still love to be able to store the Olmec head in the garage where it belongs!
Maybe when EA fix the issues of compatibility, slowness, land expansions... they can think about that... in 2020?

Could be interesting. Especially if all those indoor tasks got a visual when you went inside.
