Can't Collect Enough items generated of certain items

The trick is to only focus on the materials that you need (two or three max) and not all of them at once.

this is true and if it helps, here's a tip. I only send bumblebee man ( he collects 2 oscars compared to the 1 the others collect but they all cost 2 pills) to collect oscars so I can conserve my pills. And you need less oscars anyway, so I'm only spending 2 pills a pop to get 2 oscars and banking the rest of the pills. Time wise it's evening out for what I need to upgrade next. I also stayed away from pills when my other resources were low.

It does defiantly help if you have premium characters.

Only one I believe I don't have for the help is disco stu. I guess he'll have to be on hold atm as there's more important characters I'll want then him. Also saving my 345 sprinkles until next event.

I figure since he's the only one it isn't that much of a difference.

Too bad duffman wasn't used at the gym instead. But oh well at.east everyone else I have is used. So I did luck out on that.
But yeah also I only use the resources I need for the tasks and stuff I need or n upgrade. Also it's more fun to upgrade without doughnuts. I'm not exactly a whale but I'm not gonna do what some of my neighbors do and just pump sprinkles into the beast so it can be finished faster. It's the adventure not the end that's fun.

Sorry for the novel heh. Happy tapping.

In short, at full tilt (impossible) the max you can produce of each item per hour is:

    Furniture: 750
Latte: 105 (painful even before maxed out)
    Fabric: 22.5
    Phones: 48
    Pills: -1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Oscars: 21

This is a terrible game design. No item should have a net negative production rate. It's an awful bottleneck. It makes production inefficient and difficult to manage. I really wish if they're gonna require so much for each of the fabricated items, they should allow us to produce more than 7 per cycle. That's just common sense. Up the production rates!
I'm liking the fact that you have to think and plan, rather than just mindlessly tap. As far as I can see, there's no time limit on the non-premium Springfield Heights items, so there is no penalty for making mistakes in your production strategy. Eventually, it would seem that everyone will get there.

I'm a late bloomer in this update, I've maxed out my pill storage so cannot even buy the theatre because I haven't got jasper, and I don't want him either at that price. So now I've got to wait for my $$ to reach 28m before I can unlock clerks and go any further.

I will get there eventually, EA. I can see what you have cleverly done (using the less favoured premiums).. But I won't buy a premium character I don't want.

But one day I will be a billionaire ??

This helped a lot! Thank you! BBM is earning his trophies and I'm just focusing on one thing at a time. It was frustrating when I was trying to get everyone getting everything!! I'm trying to keep the extra earners not needed right now in SH on outdoor visual tasks for when I need them again!! ?

Glad it's working out for you! Just him getting 2 does tend to add up rather quickly if you're playing the game a lot.

That doesn't sound right. What's more important than Disco?
    Brilliant!
Can something really be brilliant if I came up with it too?

What I've discovered lately is that the modern mansions are actually less likely to drive you insane. Concentrate on them. It's the flippin' Business Centers that wear down my spirit! And the Mod Mansions pay pretty darn good at levels 4 & 5. (Levels 1-3 are deceptively low-yield, but fight through them and you're in the (fake) money.)

I'm stuck since I cannot make pills. I'm confused as to the strategy. I've loved this game for over 3 years until SPringfield Heights. Think I'll stop playing which stinks because I've spent so much real money on premium content.

you mean you can't unlock the characters' jobs at the pharmacy?
Or you can't make headway in your pill count even though they're plugging away?
or not enough playtime all in a row to manufacture the stuff?

It does take a long time of making no pill progress in order to make statues. But once the statues are made for the next task then the pills start adding up. Plus the thing that was mentioned above (about using just Bee as your statue specialist so the pills always gain each time).

If you really don't care for Springfield Heights, then you can always just ignore it and play in Springfield.
In all the possible Springfield universes, there will be some in which Springfield Heights failed to take off and Cookie Kwan lost everything. Yours could be one of those. Given that you must have at least some land there, you could even build Springfield Heights as a 'failed development' using Springfield items - half finished roads to nowhere with pylons and barriers everywhere, a few buildings, some rubbish skips and lots of random shrubs.

Great suggestion! I might do that and just use Springfield Heights as extra land for all my normal buildings. On the other hand, now is a good time for me to put this game down and get back to my real life. I know others really enjoy S.H. alot. I have enjoyed the forum though.

You should also list out the total number of currencies needed in the game (i.e. to get all the max buildings and land).

For example, after about 40 hours of play (assuming firing on all cylinders with your figures above) you'd have enough Oscars to get 10 Business Centers to Level 5 and 10 Modern Mansions to Level 5. After that what will you be spending Oscars on? Not a whole lot so you're not going to need to produce as many of them. Then you can get Pills at a fast rate (and say, up 10 Classic Mansions to Level 5).

I myself love Springfield Heights. I also have been off work so I have plenty of time to spend. What I do is constantly make chairs, coffee and yoga mats which are "free" to make. Then when I max them out I start making cell phones. When I get all of those maxed out I start on pills. I'll throw in an Oscar once in a while. I max out my buildings then put them in storage and build a new one. You won't lose your real estate value if you store your maxed out buildings and also-very important to me- I keep my SH looking good. I'm up to over 300 million. Hope this helps someone.
