What if the "limit" is really a glitch like some people have already said that only occurs when the 3 slots all cycle through their options and land on there base payouts. If so we could simply never use slot 1 it can never hit its base and we get unlimited projects through slots 2 and 3. What do ye think? Did I explain myself well enough?
I got locked out today after three projects, all of them were slot 3.
Have we tested if the limit is actually hitting three projects done in any particular field? For example, is 2-2-3 possible? Or 2-3-2?
OK, I just spoke to EA support about the limit of projects handed in everyday (I too was able to hand in only 2 of them today). It is glitch, they know about it, they are working on it. It is connected somehow to the missing quests Monorail Station Pt. 2 (place 4 tracks) and Monorail Station Pt. 3 (place 8 tracks) - maybe not only to these. But they are working hard to resolve it. Hopefully there will be some patch for that.
I should not have spent 200 donuts on Recycling factory (thinking it would be necessary to reach 90.000 blueprints).
My best guess at the moment is that if you rush with donuts the game never records you as having handed anything in, it just gives you the blueprints and prizes - so Sebastian Cobb dialogue never triggers. And after you unlock Ray Patterson at the end of Act 1 there is no block/cap just free to grind for as many extra tracks as possible
I'm just accepting this as a good working theory and trying not to think about it for a while, ha.
eta: And also what BuddhaBoss said above is so helpful. I have not had those Monorail Station pt 2 and 3 tracks trigger either. Event Patches, amirite?(Edited again: I don't think I should have triggered Monorail Station pt 2 [or 3 for that matter] because I have not reached the "station piece pack" prize. I would have it by now... if I could hand in more projects. oooooops.)

Thank you! That is reassuring. I can't believe how hard I was working trying to figure this out. Gads!
Hmm, I hope it is a glitch and that they are working on it. Unfortunately, "it is a known glitch and we are working to resolve it" seems to be in the script for low level EA customer service reps so you never know whether to take it at face value.
On the other hand, I don't have a "place tracks" or "place station parts" quest so maybe it is related.

Same, my bigger concern is, like in the past with the Gremaliens, we are just out of luck for those impacted.

I saw these quests in the walkthrough but don't recall actually doing them, so I figured that I had probably just swept through them without noticing, like when you complete part of a quest before the quest pops up, then it sort of autocompletes and you get the pop up window "congratulation etc."

Maybe you did what I did, and we're both having the trouble-I placed all of the tracks I had, enough not to see the tasks. So I completed them all instantly.
First of all, did that make sense?
And if so, is there anything to this?

Hey guys, I'm AO (not AOF). I create and run the Event Strategy Threads.

I do not have 8 tracks yet to place, but I do not see quest for doing so. So even if I skipped (did not notice) the place 4 tracks one, I would be seeing quest for placing 8 tracks. The last quest I remember is to kill 8 possums, which I did.
The person from EA support told me that it is known issue to them and they are working hard to resolve it. Hope he was right and patch hits soon.

The problem is this is a glitch, if that's what it is, that doesn't overly benefit us, and certainly not to the detriment of EA's pockets, so it is not in their benefit to fix it.
My problem is, if it's a glitch, as somebody else said, why does the Sebastian Cobb text exist?

It may mention this in the walkthrough, but is it recommended to only do two projects per day for blueprints for the 1200? And none after until the next day again? I notice they keep requiring more and more materials.

Well, you get 2 donuts every 10 projects you deliver (Quest Project Management: Metal Pt. 1). So if you do not have problem with limited projects (glitch), then it is better to go with cheaper projects (more donuts for you). Not sure how many times it repeats, I am stuck at first one (had 7/10, today was only able to hand in 2 projects).

They seem to cycle; I had it go back to 250 for 5, 450 for 10, and 900 for 21. No idea if that is how it is suppose to work.
It does say "Keep handing in projects for Blueprints!", but maybe it is not best strategy. We just don't know at this point.

I reckon it's worth just making hay while the sun shines, assuming you can of course with this supposed glitch going around, especially in Act I, because the resources are so easy to get.

I grind alot of metal and spend it on the one that gives me the most blue prints. Currently have 1 that gives me 2302 for 180 metal cans. Sadly i have that stupid glitch
How many project are we supposed to be able to hand in? And is there a daily chart for THE amouny of currency we need to get? I know we need 8123 a day but my math isnt that good xD

That quote is for Daily bonus task (+1200 blueprints if you finish 2 projects within 24 hours).
Good point. I really hope it's a glitch. Now let's start a rumor that it's giving donuts out like candy so EA actually fixes it before autumn.

That's a point, I hope it's true, but that doesn't answer for its location either.......
