The reason in think it's a glitch that we can't turn in more projects is that there is no option to pay donuts to get through the event faster when I'm no longer allowed to turn in projects. I can't remember a single event where it wasn't possible to spend donuts (real money) to speed things up.
I'm locked out on projects, but I still have this option:
Do you not have this option?
After taking another look yea I do have that option. So I guess there still is a way to speed things up. It just seems weird to me that there isn't a way to unlock or speed things up on the projects board section of menu. Usally EA makes it all too easy to spend donuts to unlock or speed things up but the only way to do so now is to buy blueprints.
The whole thing just doesn't seem right to me. Especially with the large discrepancy between what people are reporting they can earn before being locked out (I've seen anywhere from 2K to 9K) I myself was able to do 6 projects and about 5K blueprints before I was locked out by 11am. Basically I was able to grind for a coup,e hours before the event has turned into waiting for possums to reset which is incredibly frustrating.

It was mentioned a few pages back now, but more and more, I'm starting to suspect that update we got yesterday a while into the event messed things up, because before that, I got through a number of exchanges, but then it was much harder, and it seems lots of people initially had no problem.
Hey guys, I'm AO (not AOF). I create and run the Event Strategy Threads.
Over at tstoaddicts they said that they might know the cause, something about a cap and that it impacts each game differently and each day has a different cap or something like that.
I hate to throw another wrench in, but here's my experience...late start yesterday, I did 2 easy and 2 medium tasks, no lock-out. Today, I have done 3 medium, 2 large, 1 small and still can submit. So far today, I have earned, just short of 7k in blueprints.
I just chatted with support and they said it's a glitch (low tasks available to complete per day) and to make a topic in the bugs/glitches forum. I did that if anyone wants to go over and post. I included the ticket # - hopefully someone looks at it. I didn't know that's how the forum works over there. Support staff can help from the forum but not from live support? :S
That's the quest I'm talking about, yes. Last night I got shut down at 9/10 projects to finish that quest. This morning, I was able to get the tenth project in and got two donuts. Now I'm at 9/10 projects again and can't turn in any more.
Consider yourself lucky. I have gotten no bonuts either yesterday or today and was locked out of doing more projects pretty quickly both yesterday and today.
If anything, having done 18 total projects, you are WAY beyond what my game is letting me do...
I'm doing the small projects. Do you think that makes a difference?
Most people are trying to figure the max amount of blueprints obtained before capping so its quite possible that you did so many projects due to low payout.
I too blame the update yesterday I did 3 of each task, smalledium and large, uploaded the update and turned in one project and was capped out, oh well.

Yeah, that seems too coincidental doesn't it?

Thanks, I'll get over there now, I'm getting worried that there's now two conflicting stories, that it's a glitch, or planned.

They said they talked to the "specialist team" whatever that is
I wound up talking to EA Customer support twice, two different people, and both said it's a known glitch too that the specialists are working on fixing. One of them even gave me ten free donuts to apologize for the problem.
Not looking to start anything, but according to the Addicts team there doesn't appear to be a glitch but rather a set amount of blueprints coded into the game for each day (even though their reported numbers don't come close to mine). Hopefully this gets sorted out pronto.
Just talked to support regarding the projects cap and got a "this is a known issue" response. I'm really not impressed amongst the information I got was a request to post on the EA scrabble forum so the scale of the issue could be seen! When I have to give the advisor the correct URL for the forum you can see that the quality control put in by EA is laughable and explains clearly why these issues keep recurring event after event and why fixes seem to cause as many problems as they solve. Usually an issue like this would be a minor irritant but given that over the next couple of weeks my time playing will be severely restricted I really needed a head start to ensure I gained the prizes for this round. Now forget the head start I'm already behind where I should be.

That's not how the B&I forum works so far as I know. Posting here or contacting them just lets them see how widespread an issue is. (So please do, just don't expect individual attention.)

I've also put a large note about it at the top of the OP, telling everybody to go there and comment.

I'm aware of that too, and it's worrying me, but the writers on that website, according what people have said on this thread, don't have any issues, but their commenters do, while multiple people have now reported speaking to EA and them confirming its a glitch they are aware of. What numbers are they reporting for caps? Because our findings on the cap suggest there is no way of getting all of the prizes.

Their current reading is that it's a number that increases daily. Yesterday was 4500, today 9000, tomorrow 13500. This implies a linear progression, but they have not given additional numbers beyond that, other than saying it keeps going up. This is assumed to be cumulative, but there isn't really evidence of this. Of course, most people I see commenting on this did not get anywhere near this number before they were capped, but this would be *approximately* accurate for me if it included the 5k Daily Play bonus I got today. If this is a thing, a little ingame counter saying "you can earn this many more Blueprints today" would be super.
Other factors that can't yet be accounted for is what impact yesterday's patch had on this issue and what impact the Blueprints earned from Possums and Friend Taps/visits have on this number.
Contacts I have had in the past with EA's support for this and other games does not inspire a lot of confidence that information that would be meaningful on these issues is being given to people who have contact with players seeking tech support.

I am struggling to restrain myself from beginning a thread called "Number of projects glitch. Shhh. (Fight Club)."
And post saying that every time I get the Project Screen saying that Sebastian Cobb needs a rest, if i click on the letter "S" in "rest" i get 2 donuts, go to KL to sync, and come back to get more.
(Think they'd read it?).
I have a feeling that the only ones operating under a "glitch" are people who are getting unlimited projects available.

If this is true it kinda sucks.
The only definitive numbers I see so far that wont be changing are "4" (how many hours between spawns) and "10" (number of blueprints per possum)
Anyone have info about how many possums spawn in the future?
