Got send to the tstoaddicts page  then told the but that I didn't receive 9000 from projects today. Then gets told that he will contact the staff or something and get the cap raised.
YOU WERE TOLD BY EA SUPPORT TO GO TO THE ADDICTS PAGE??????????? ****???
That is hilarious. At best...they are guessing like everyone else. This proves one thing...EA support is populated by a bunch of people who aren't REALLY part of EA. This is hilarious. Talk about the blind leading the blind.
They hack the EA files...are now experts??? Man...this is sooooo revealing if it is true!
I may be wrong, but they seem to be doing less than guessing! We've got a large and vocal population saying there's a problem, but because the people who played the game in a unique "cheating" way (of course for our benefit) who write the articles there, they seem to be steadfast in their opinion there's no problem. Don't they realise their experience of the game is in no way representative of the masses, because they rush EVERYTHING with donuts to produce their walkthroughs (which in my experience don't hold a candle to LP's Walkthroughs?
They've had people copy and pasting responses from my thread without citing the source, but then seemingly ignore what they copy and paste? No wonder EA are redirecting people there, they've both got their head in the sand, I bet EA hope that the Addicts' page is done professional-looking enough to convince some naive players there's no problem!
Sorry if that was rambling, incoherent, and/or needlessly aggressive, but I've just woken up from a poor nights' sleep much earlier than planned! But it just felt this needed to be said. Don't get fooled people, no matter what way EA are spinning it right now, the maths simply does not add up!!!
Welcome to why I single the "bliss ninnies" on that blog as the most ambiguous morons in the TSTO pantheon...with a following of sheeple behind them. Once again....in that same thread...someone asks about how to "look into the files." Bunny's reply is "we don't teach people how to do that." My. Freakin'. God. And then she goes on to say that they really don't know what they are looking at most of the time...and have to play things out to figure out the details. Blind leading the blind...on EA's dime (hacked donuts and server intrusions).
LPNita and I have had a BLAST posting as much as we know... as SOON as we know it...because they also tease out the info...to boost page views. It is all hilarious... EA pandering at its worst. And now we know that EA support is even worse...and defer to those who hack their system. Nice. It's like Microsoft who has the entire world beta testing their releases... pathetic.
So i just spoke to the EA chat and got nowhere . I was told just to reinstall in my game to fix it , i have had 8 hours sleep and i still can not hand in projects. Seb you are even lazier than me it has to be said .
I too am experiencing this lock-out with projects. Im in eastern Australia so my timer doesnt reset until 6pm local time and today i've been locked out since 11am and only completed two projects (both large) so have had hardly anything to do all day. I've only done 7/10 projects for the donuts since starting the event yesterday and 95% of those were for the largest payout (might have done a couple of small projects before the task started).
Im currently sat on 13000 blueprints and have played every single hour of my waking day due to not being in work (approx 12 hours worth of play), this total includes 2 daily payout bonuses of 1200, one round of neighbour visits to the few that i have plus a few visits from them, and DOESNT include the 5000 blueprints from the daily play bonus.
I think im roughly on track for the prizes but it frustrating that i actually have time to grind for once but get locked out. Hopefully i can start doing projects again when the daily timer resets as my dump and metal are maxed out so i can earn a few thousand more prints before i go to bed tonight.
Feel free to add me as i have plenty of space for neighbours and play daily, just excuse some parts of my town for being messy as i slowly redesign after the SH update!

Guilty as charged. (That's me. Second sheeple from the left.).
I happen to enjoy the addicts site. I've found many solutions and ideas there. And lots of good tools for making my way through these events. Fun site. Friendly. Blissful. I like bliss. Nice feeling. I recommend it highly.
"Most ambiguous morons" sounds a bit harsh. I'm certain that, if I got to know you better, I would discover that you are a good person, and not nearly as obnoxious and arrogant as your post makes you sound. :P :P
I frequent many forums for this game ... Each has something valuable to offer. Every single one.
Now let's all play nice, okay?
USA/UK Race To Throw Country Into Utter Chaos = TOO CLOSE TO CALL
Has anyone been able to spawn more than 8 possums from a single station yet? And if so how many tracks did it take to increase the spawn amount. Thanks in advance
P.S. pmiller, let's not start insulting the addicts website, they provide a lot of great information and always have a lovely atmosphere over there.
Edit: another question:
Does anyone know if the daily project goal (I can't remember what it's called) will always be 2 projects?
All buildings are Stinkable, except for Brown, Blue and White Houses, as well as Kwik-E-Marts. There may be others, but no word on that yet, so don't go using those Brown House Farms for getting Stanked, like I did!!
There's a lot more than that:
Sea Captain's Houseboat
Spruce Caboose
Testosterozone
Minimum Security Prison
Classy Girls
Gas N Grub
Farmer's Market
Stonecutter's Lodge (but not the Daycare)
Herman's Military
Java Server
Android's Dungeon
Skip's
Otto's Bus
Stomach Staple Center
Slant
Wiggum House
Skinner House
Muntz house
All Springfield Heights buildings
Zenith City Times
Botanical Garden
Superior Squad HQ
Vulgari
Spiffany's
Unemployment Office
Black Box
Super Smorg
Writer's Building
Jake's Unisex Hair Palace
Banana Dictatorship
King Toots
Prep School
Quimby Compound
Nighthawk Diner
Gypsy Fortune Teller Shop
Helter Shelter
Guitar Central
Gold Navy
Convention Center
Guiseppe's Workshop
Elf Tunnel
Cletus' Farm
Alley McBalls
Probably some I'm missing, but those for sure. Completely random, no rhyme or reason why some Superheroes buildings work, but others don't. Early buildings don't work, recent buildings don't work, freemium & premium alike.

Thanks Annette, I was thinking about what I could reply to that since I also enjoy visiting the Addicts' site tremendously and find them incredibly helpful and nice and I couldn't have said it better. So I totally agree with you. ;-)
On the other hand, I also agree that it is absolutely disappointing, enraging, sad and hilarious at the same time that the official support (!) of the company developing this game sends people to fan blogs (!!) for troubleshooting. So, it's not a dumb joke any more, we the players are indeed officially EA's beta testers/QA department and the moderators on this forum as well as on the various blogs are officially part of EA's support team.
I'm absolutely serious about this, they should send invoices to EA and demand compensation for the donuts they spend doing the work which actually lies within EA's responsibility.
A new day and new results. Today I decided to complete the lowest payout projects so I can finish the Project Metal quests. So far it has worked. I've completed 11 projects so far and still haven't been locked out. (Yesterday, I chose high-payout projects and was locked out after just four.) I've only collected ~2,400 blueprints today from my projects so far (not counting the daily task bonus). I'll see how many I can earn from completing projects and see how it compares to my total from yesterday.
I'd encourage those of you who can, to keep a record of how many blueprints you receive from completing your projects today, so we can have more data. More data is always good.
So far I have collected 3000 + challenge = 4200
According to tstoaddicts you can collect 13500 from the projects today. Let's see if their right or not.

If that's correct, then the best strategy would be to come close to 13500 as possible, and then pick biggest project, right?

Currently I'm on 3487.
Well, there goes that theory. After 3487 I took project of 767, and now I have 4254 and that's it for today. Not even close to 13500
Hmm, I hope it is a glitch and that they are working on it. Unfortunately, "it is a known glitch and we are working to resolve it" seems to be in the script for low level EA customer service reps so you never know whether to take it at face value.
On the other hand, I don't have a "place tracks" or "place station parts" quest so maybe it is related.
This.
And also it doesn't seem like a glitch since the words "Phew! Sebastian Cobb needs a rest" has been scripted in there.
Sorry if this has been said already, I got alot of pages to read today

Yes the Sebastian tired thing isn't a glitch. Tho its a glitch that people are getting it too early.

Wow! Now I hope I can get a high number of blue prints o.0
Really, ea should just made this infinite instead of a cap.
Ugh, after not getting the lock you guys did yesterday, I started the new day with a large task for 2060 blueprints, a medium task for 898, collected my 1200 reward for completing two tasks and was locked. Only a couple of hours into the new day and already have buildings sitting at max.
I'm getting the feeling they scripted 4500-ish cap on each day. That would explain people getting 9000 or the 13500 addicts claims for day 3. People skipping one day they would have 9000 on the next, if you started playing on day 3, you would get to 13500 straight away and then stop till the next one.
They prolly capped it like this to prevent people to pack thousands of tracks or something. The more I think about this the more 4500 cumulative for each day makes sense.
I have a theory: the numbers in files some people are referring to (e.g. yesterday 9000, today 13500) are limit of total blueprints acquired by projects.
So each day limit is set higher by 4500, and near end of Act I there are bigger increases. So (total) limit on 22th August is 72000. That means we should gather 72000 by projects, and the rest (approximately 18000) with other methods, which seems reasonable.
First I thought that daily limit is difference between today (13500) and yesterday (9000) limit in file, but that is not the case as today I hit the limit with 4254. Now I think that yesterday I had probably passed over the limit with several hundreds blueprints, e.g. I had 9300 total, so today I had 4254 and hit the limit.
Unfortunately, if this is correct, the only way to track your total and to manipulate it, is if you counted all projects from the start of the event, which nobody did (at least I didn't).

Busted out of projects to hand in around 8pm last night, filled up on resources a short time later.
Wait til 9am for the projects to reopen, manage to hand in 3 projects and then slam, closed again at 10am.
So 1 hours play time in the new event. Awesome work EA. Absolutely Stellar planning and implementation.
Do they actually have a testing dept or just release these things willy-nilly?
Very disappointed tbh, I want to build me monorail, spending the amount of time on it, I want to spend, not some arbitrary amount set by someone else.
