For planning purposes, is there a summary for how many track segments will be available for each Act (and whether more will be available after the event)?
That is weird, were they the Major dohickey projects?
I didn't understand it would cut off and so did the top whack one and then the middle one.
Got me a total of about 2500 + the daily bonus ?
Once I earn enough I'll do the tasks and see if the cut of is decided by the projects or the pay outs
Thanks
I scream with excitement last night as I have today and tomorrow off work so thought I would make a massive head start... Looks like ea don't want us to without paying with donuts

Trust me, you could still get advantages!! I don't work because of disability, and so I can be on this game nearly all the time, and so I always complete the events with time to spare!! Gotta get the bonuts!!
Based on the responses on the forum so far, I'm sure it must be linked to amount of blueprints you get, because somebody said they could do two, another 7 or 8, I know I must've done more than that myself.
Hey guys, I'm AO (not AOF). I create and run the Event Strategy Threads.
Do we know if more characters will get jobs collecting metal in the future? The rate is kind of slow in my opinion.
And also so far AO I have just been posting tips as I find them but if there is anything you need someone to focus on I'd be happy to do it
The big issue right now Aidx is about the Project Board, but anyway to maximise Blueprints or possums would be great, and somebody needs to confirm if the possums can converge when you only have a little bit of road like Sideshow Bob Clones and Fans.
Daily Charts are also always very popular, and link in with maximising blueprints. I've done well with blueprints so far, but am no where near 8,123 per day.

Re: Possums
You need to tap the payout icon to release the possums and they stand still for a second before running off, so I think the best option is to have the station in a clear bit of land so you can quickly tap and count the possums s before they run away
Re: Project Board
That is really confusing me too, especially as it seems to have a random element to what projects it gives you
Re: Earning blueprints
I'll try make a break down of this like I did with AB back in tap ball if you think that would be helpful

The same thing just happened to me.
Day 1, I was able to do 7 projects before it stopped me.
Now day 2, only 2 projects before it stopped me.
Which leaves me on 9/10 for the free donuts.
I was only allowed to cash in 4 projects this morning before it told me that Sebastian needed to rest until tomorrow. That's 21 hours! This event is the anti-grind because we aren't allowed to grind for prizes.
Anyway, I kept track and I received 4,026 blueprints total from completing 4 projects. If others keep track, maybe we can see if the 4,000 blueprints is the limit or something else.

I knew the bit about tapping the pay-out icon, I've done that myself-maybe you can produce a list of the pay-out buildings?-but the idea to have them in clear land is a good idea!!

I think it it must be something like this, so if we can work it down towards as firm a figure as we can that'll be great!
Hey guys, I'm AO (not AOF). I create and run the Event Strategy Threads.
So now I kind of have the monorail bouncing back and forth between very few strips of rail. It resembles one of those ' 5 swinging marble on strings things' (name?). It's getting hypnotic and makes me feel kinda sad for trapping it there. Anyone know how to turn off the monorail movement whilst still leaving the rails connected?
All day long I assumed the dump was my new landing zone. I kept seeing dumps when first entering friends' towns, too.
Then I happened to move that little Project whatchamacallit thingie off to one side of my screen. Went to visit neighbor and when I came back to my town i discovered my landing zone was where that project thingie was.
This may be no great revelation to many, but I was greatly relieved. If I want to set my landing zone, I can move a small item and not tear everything down around it.
Are you talking about the project depot? Not to be confused with the present depot which was coincidentally the landing zone one Christmas and could
Be moved as well. If only ea could come up with names like you " cavdoohattun" we wouldn't be mixing up these repetitive building names.

It's called a Newton's Cradle, I have one myself!! Without disconnecting a part of the track, there's no way to stop it. Or at least, I've not found one!!

place your project board near lots of tapable buildings, it is the spawn point.
several towns I have visited have it out in SH area and then you have to scroll forever just to find the buildings that are tapable
That's a good point, I can't confirm this yet, but it seems houses are NOT Stinkable, as I've moved my house farm right next to the Project Building, and they never get tapped.

About those tasks that are limited. After I read yesterday that they are limited I stopped doing the small ones. I did not meet my limit yesterday.
I did the big task twice today and can still do more.
My best guess at the moment: you start with being able to do a certain amount and every day +2 get added. So you should only do the biggest tasks from the very beginning (though we're all past that).

Made me laugh! And I'm so glad I'm not the only one!
It seems like the amount of metal you have to collect changes as well. I'm very confused.

It's definitely random, and that's making things really difficult.
