Unless they change the mechanics, I believe that this is the first time I'll not be able to keep up to the daily by grinding. I've always been a day or so ahead at the end of each stage for each event.
I think I got about 4000 - 5000 blueprints today via the project board, and already I'm done for the day. Currently at around 12,000 blue prints total so this is not looking good for me so far.
I bet there is something in place where you can only earn X amount after competing your 2 required projects for the day. As we move forward in the week, that 2 will become larger so that means more opportunity for us to earn blueprints later?
I think we're all still trying to figure out how the board works. It seems a little too random so far...
I have started working out a post on earning blueprints but it is quite difficult due to the fact not everyone is getting the same projects to complete but here are the basics everyone is earning:
The daily bonus has changed from a mystery box to 5000 blueprints so when this broken up over the 5 days you get
-1000 per day
Completing 2 projects a day bonus (Can anyone that reads the files confirm this will stay at 2 everyday)
-1200 per day
Neighbour visits:
-540 per day (6 bp x 3 actions x 30 neighbours)
OR
-1080 per day (Using dumping licence available for 60 donuts)
The Monorail Station spawns possums every 4 hours (1 possum=10 blueprints)
The base rate is 8 possums but more can be spawned by placing more tracks, more info on this later when I learn more.
Little Lisa's Recycling Plant (costs 200 donuts)
350 blueprints per 4 hours
Krustyland Drive Thru Station (costs 150 donuts)
Same as the regular station
This is very rough at the moment but I thought it was best give the info I had, if anyone has anything to add or correct please tell me and I'll happily add or change it. I'll update this as I find out more.
You should also add the blueprints received from clearing stink lines from buildings. Max 300 per day, but 100-200 is probably more common in practice.

You're right, I'll add that now thanks
And also thanks Annette for spotting my mistake regarding the price of the licence
About those tasks that are limited. After I read yesterday that they are limited I stopped doing the small ones. I did not meet my limit yesterday.
I did the big task twice today and can still do more.
My best guess at the moment: you start with being able to do a certain amount and every day +2 get added. So you should only do the biggest tasks from the very beginning (though we're all past that).
I'm also doin the largest blueprint jobs, however today I have 2 jobs that are only pay about 8 blueprints and 2 blueprints?
Just wondering if I only do the large jobs, that down the line I'm not goin to hit the daily quota?
Shouldn't you always have three different jobs available?
What job you get seems to be random so it's possible that the "big" job will suddenly be one that only gives a few blueprints cause you don't need to use metal.
But that can happen to the middle and small job as well. So in total I guess it's best to just keep doing the big one.
This is weird to explain, I hope you understood me.
I'm done on daily tasks today, but see the 3 I have for tomorrow. Crappy payouts.

If it's okay with you Aidx, when I put this on the front page I'll put a note about friends visiting you, something like:
The maximum is 300 per day, but it will be a lot, lower than that
Something like that, but a little more upbeat, we don't normally give figures for people visiting you, it's just too random (which I know is ironic to say considering the Project Board right now!). Also, can you give a blueprint total at the end per day please? Don't worry about having all the information right now, I'll just add a disclaimer for now.
Hey guys, I'm AO (not AOF). I create and run the Event Strategy Threads.

I think this just goes to show something is not working about this Project Board. It seems a response to Endless Bob, but they've worked it too much and it's unworkable.

If that stays like that, then the first ones tomorrow would be easy.
Has it been speculated that the daily Project Board tasks are somehow connected to the quest "Project Management: Metal"?
To sum it up, people have had a variety of experiences. The best customer service people seem to work the phones, so if that is an option, use the "call me" feature. One person said customer service unlocked all the Spucklers for them, many said they were given a refund of between 5 and 30 donuts and many were told to just wait for a patch to fix it and given nothing.
Here's another monkey wrench. Have a neighbor that only has 18,000 blueprints but has a minimum of 35 track pieces and several station pieces as well. If they were obtained by donuts wouldn't the blueprint tally reflect such?
Also, can you give a blueprint total at the end per day please? Don't worry about having all the information right now, I'll just add a disclaimer for now.
I was going to put a total at the end but then I realised that a huge chunk of the blueprints we are earning is from projects which I am unable to give totals on as of yet due to how random they are, and also the possum totals will depend on how many 4 hour intervals people can go into the game for. But if you want I'll add an estimated amount per day.

You mean it could be that way until we finish getting those donuts??
I don't know what you mean by "that way". I meant that what we see as the daily tasks might somehow be related to where we are in that quest. I would have thought they were mostly unrelated, but maybe not.
In my RTTF town, I finished part 1 of that quest by doing low value hand-ins until I'd done 10 of them. Got 2 donuts. Today I'm on part 2 started with 0/100 and 0/10. I decided to do the big payoffs today. So easily got 100/100 and have turned in the first hand-in.
Edit: Wrong pic.
Next hand-in will now be 2116 Blueprints for 165 metal, or 1146 for 90, or 373 for 30 metal and 50 garbage.
And in my A-town, where I'm still on part 1 of the quest, I have this ...
Note the big payout is in the middle instead of the far right.

They may be using the two devices glitch.
What is that or is there a link you could post? Thank you!

I find this strange because the big payout of Blueprints is in the middle! Before it was always on the far right.
Everything I'm about to say is just my opinion and not fact so I may be wrong.
As you complete the projects a new one for that slot will appear presumably randomly from a list of projects made by ea for that particular slot regardless of what the other 2 are currently showing so you have probably cycled through all the options in the 3 and 1 slot so they have returned to their initial smaller payouts but you are nearing the end of payouts for the second slot so that it is showing its bigger payout.
The 2 slot payout is "medium" because its not going to be 2000+ we usually see in the 3 slot but because the other 2 slots are showing their smaller payouts it appears to be the large one.
I hope I have explained myself well here. So to summarise because you aren't doing the projects evenly (i.e. 1,2,3,1,2,3 etc.) The payouts won't always appear so the biggest (at the time) is on the end

I have never used the glitch myself but I know its when you earn a prize on one device, you quickly sign in on another device so that you get two of the same reward. Maybe someone else who has used it can explain it better, sorry.

That may be. So in Rich0913's example they've all cycled back to the beginning low payouts.

Not bad, was hoping for something else to do in act 1.
Thanks!

There is a thread on that here: http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/10348938.page
