So after you complete the 100 sort through junk and 10 complete projects, you get 2 donuts and the task appears again, sort of like overtime donuts. May have to rethink strategy and go for more of the smaller projects to get more donuts, depending on the number of blueprints produced. Interesting twist, and more donuts are always welcome!
Here's another monkey wrench. Have a neighbor that only has 18,000 blueprints but has a minimum of 35 track pieces and several station pieces as well. If they were obtained by donuts wouldn't the blueprint tally reflect such?
They may be using the two devices glitch.
What is that or is there a link you could post? Thank you!
I have never used the glitch myself but I know its when you earn a prize on one device, you quickly sign in on another device so that you get two of the same reward. Maybe someone else who has used it can explain it better, sorry.
I tried to use this glitch last night after unlocking the track bundle and it wouldnt work. I'd like to know if anyone had success with it.
FYI - when working you get a prize, close your device, log in from another device and get the prize again.

According to the walkthrough you can only do this 3 times
So we get 2 donuts when we've completed 10 tasks, but they only give us 2 tasks tomorrow? Yesterday, I finished my 10 tasks for my two donuts, and then got to do two more tasks before Sebastian "got tired". Then this morning, I woke up to see 0/2 completed, so I know they don't carry over.
Does anyone recall what the number was in the field with the blue bar on your project image? In your image, it shows 1/2 ... And from the posts in this thread so far, "two" seems to be the one constant amongst us. So we're all limited to 2 tasks today. But yesterday it MUST have said a higher number than that. Otherwise, how could I have completed 10 tasks and gotten 2 donuts?
Can someone find something in the files to tell us how many tasks they have scheduled each day for the rest of the event? Maybe it varies wildly day to day, like it did with numbers and lengths of daily tasks on those charts we used to have. And maybe it's tied to what time someone starts, and whether they carry over tasks, etc. -- like in the previous events.
It would be nice if after we get our maximum (six) donuts this level, that 'maximum' field goes away, and we can get as many tasks as we want.
Or not. Maybe it's random -- a wheel-in-sheeps-clothing.

Also, you can't complete ten projects to get the two donuts until it LETS you perform ten projects. Yesterday, it allowed us to complete over ten projects (at least that's what happened to me) -- hence we could get donuts yesterday. But today it's only allowing me to do two projects. At this rate, it will take me five days to get ten projects done for my next two donuts. And the stage lasts only ten days ... so I just don't get it.

I did two projects this morning to complete the daily task, but I did one more to complete my 10 and get the donuts and I can still do more. Not sure what sets the limit on number of projectss, which is why I was wondering whether it's better to do several smaller projects rather than a few large ones. :?:

I have done 4 projects today and I'm still allowed do more, but I can't remember how many I done yesterday
I was only allowed to cash in 4 projects this morning before it told me that Sebastian needed to rest until tomorrow. That's 21 hours! This event is the anti-grind because we aren't allowed to grind for prizes.
Anyway, I kept track and I received 4,026 blueprints total from completing 4 projects. If others keep track, maybe we can see if the 4,000 blueprints is the limit or something else.
I collected around 9000 today from projects so I don't think there's a numerical limit.

I have done 4 projects today and I'm still allowed do more, but I can't remember how many I done yesterday
Yesterday I did way more than two projects. I began before the donut reward task which I couldn't finish yesterday. I finished it this morning by doing several projects, and I am now at 1/10 for the next round of donuts.
I was able to complete 2 projects today, both being the largest blueprint payouts. I think that I will try doing the smaller projects tomorrow to see how many it will allow - I think it is probable that the amount of tasks you are able to complete is linked to the blueprint payout - that there is a cap on how many project board tasks you can do up to a certain amount of blueprints - the estimate of between 4000 to 5000 blueprints sounds about right for the project board payouts I received today. Hope that helps in some way.
EDIT: yesterday I did smaller projects and was able to do more.
This is crazy, so the amount of projects you do isn't based on the amount of blueprints you get in exchange, or a limit to the number of exchanges you do? There's clearly a limit, because we're being stopped from doing loads each day, so what is it?
Hey guys, I'm AO (not AOF). I create and run the Event Strategy Threads.
Has it been speculated that the daily Project Board tasks are somehow connected to the quest "Project Management: Metal"?
You mean it could be that way until we finish getting those donuts??
I don't know what you mean by "that way". I meant that what we see as the daily tasks might somehow be related to where we are in that quest. I would have thought they were mostly unrelated, but maybe not.
In my RTTF town, I finished part 1 of that quest by doing low value hand-ins until I'd done 10 of them. Got 2 donuts. Today I'm on part 2 started with 0/100 and 0/10. I decided to do the big payoffs today. So easily got 100/100 and have turned in the first hand-in.
Edit: Wrong pic.
Next hand-in will now be 2116 Blueprints for 165 metal, or 1146 for 90, or 373 for 30 metal and 50 garbage.
And in my A-town, where I'm still on part 1 of the quest, I have this ...
Note the big payout is in the middle instead of the far right.
By that way, I mean we could be allowed to do limited exchanges until we complete the quests that gift donuts?

My depot and dump are both full. Sebastian has had enough. I can't do anything for the next 14h it seems - so it's back to grinding in the Heights for me.

Yes, this is my understanding of it anyway, its the only thing that makes sense to me but I could be wrong
Sebastian resets when the day resets (9:00 am GMT)
Yes, I can confirm that it resets at the same time as the daily challenge.
