So if there is indeed a cap, based on the numbers you posted (or whomever) those that are maxed out should have roughly 27,000 blueprints today. I'm done for the day, maxed out the past two days and yet only have 20,730. Where is the other 6,270?
Well I got my update in the evening so I could manage to have 4500 extra before my timer rest 10 in the morning
Sebastian Cobb was getting tired for a short period
EA just dont wanna have we could end the event in a couple off days whitout using donuts
For those who have all its 4500 a day, dont know who start NOW if the cap today (13500) is like that maybe for them its 4500 to? Its just for the players who play alot that there is a cap
Oh I will certainly get some from friend visits but I can assure you there is no way it will be 6270. I'm going with this is a glitch until whatever set of numbers thrown out there somewhat resemble what I'm seeing in my town.

I agree I can only get around 3000 blueprints then is stop's me so i am going with a glitch.
If it is a cap why when I contacted EA about an hour ago about the problem they said it is a glitch and should be fixed within 48 Hours.
I am also on 29,528 today and I have only ever been able to hand in trash with the daily bonus's?
Same here. I was asked to make a thread in the bug section and told it was a glitch. Not sure why a fan site would be referenced in this situation as all knowing

I still hope its a glitch, but if there was no cap I would allready have ALL prizes from the first day
Thank you OP. This makes sense to me. I also hope it is a glitch but at least I understand what is going on. I also looked at the calendar wrong and thought the 8000 blueprints stayed on the 11th and thought I was behind. I am glad to see I am actually ahead. Everything now seems much more doable.

With or without donuts?? I can only see it being a cap if there was a set amount blueprints given for handing in trash but because it is completely random how are you to know how far under or over you can be to the cap?
Without cap, each hour login tab the 55 metal and save to 200 and always take the highest payout, I would have all prizes in a couple days maybe, so I think its NO glitch.
The guys from support are NOT tecnics (dont misunderstand they wanna help you and are very nice people in my opinion ) and offen dont know what is a glitch or if its ment to be, I had that in the past.
So to complete Act 1 you Need 89323 blueprints and you reckon you can collect that many in 24 hours if there was not a cap?
Whitout cap? No more than a couple days I think did not doing the math but would not take 11 days for sure
Whitout sleep and really login when you have to, (did that before in other events )
Once you know what to do to get the max things you whant why not?
I did the SFH in a couple of weeks (just done just a couple days before this event so dont know how long it was)
But I got 1 billion
Ok fair enough well I hope it is a glitch I see what your saying about EA the guy I spoke too seemed to know about the glitch and said that the deadline will be moved back to account for the time lost in collecting blueprints.
All I can say is that I've seen this with every event I've been in so far (since March 2014). It doesn't matter if I use strategies or charge blindly ahead; if I grind enough, I always get all the prizes. The exception was Halloween 2014, when I missed the copter because I was traveling abroad and thought it more important to sightsee than to tap. Thoughtless, I know....
(And, of course, The Event Which Will Not Be Mentioned, aka "The Scottish Event".)
I've also seen EA adjust things when it looked as if the stakes were too tough. Betting that if this is NOT a glitch, that they'll do so again. Perhaps they felt from the last couple of events that too many people were getting too many donuts.

If this is not a glitch then this is really dumb. At least let people know there's a cap instead of it happening seemly randomly. I hope this is fixed/changed because this just isn't fun anymore.

That also happens when someone FROM this forum contacts EA Support and the response from EA Support is for them to post here IN this forum to get their problem solved.
A never-ending cycle, sometimes. If I couldn't find any other job and had to work in EA Customer Support, I would be in a padded room within 24 hours. My "employer" leaves me totally out to dry, with no tools, and almost certainly no training.
Here are the options I would feel I had:
1. I reject the padded room. I decide that EA treats ME like crap by leaving me in the hotseat while they go off making their billions, and that EA is treating their CUSTOMERS like crap. So I "pay back" EA by handing out donuts to the poor customers who call me. (I empathize.) (When the Big EA Executives discover what I'm doing, they chase me, but I'm too fast for them. I quit before I can be fired, and move back home with my mom.)
2. I sit in the hallway just outside the padded room. I read off the card that EA gave me, and say "it's a glitch and we're working on it" just so the customers don't scream at me any longer. (The Big EA Executives are satisfied with me. I'm turning their little hamster wheel just as they hoped.)
3. I sit in the doorway of the padded room. I ask the customer to hold on a few minutes while I go ask someone at "the next level". There is not, in fact, a next level, but I come back and tell the customer that the (imaginary) "next level" person assures me that the glitch is being worked on. (The Big EA executives are impressed by my creativity. I'm given the additional role of "mentor" to new employees, plus EA gives me a multi-colored certificate of appreciation to hang over my head in the doorway.)
4. I sit, with a customer-service partner, just inside the padded room. We tag-team the customers. When customers call, I talk to them, and reassure them by telling them I'm transferring the call to "the next level". I transfer the call to my tag-team partner. He is my imaginary "next level" person. He does the same with me. We handle the same number of calls as other customer service reps by swapping, so we don't get fired. (The EA executives are amused, but don't promote me to mentor. They're worried that a new employee won't have the interpersonal skills to work with a partner.)
5. I move into the padded room, curled up in a fetal position. I convince myself that the customers are imaginary. Every once in a while, I answer my imaginary phone and make up a totally bizarre story to make the imaginary customer stop pestering me. During my assigned lunch break, I eat imaginary donuts. (The EA executives find this amusing, but decide that letting employees eat company donuts -- imaginary or not -- is against their company policy, and sets poor precedent. I move back home with my mom, who's a little worried about me, but doesn't mind feeding me lots of imaginary donuts.)
USA/UK Race To Throw Country Into Utter Chaos = TOO CLOSE TO CALL
So, if we know what the cap space is going to be each day (4500) - would the play not to be as many small projects to get in just under the cap and then hit a large one on your last project so you potentially hit around 6500-7000 for that day through that portion?

Did people think this was a glitch? It says underneath "you've reached project limit for the day come back tomorrow to hand in more projects" that to me from the start indicated not a glitch just part of game play.

Annette, please make this a poll where we can vote on how we think EA really works.

Oh I will certainly get some from friend visits but I can assure you there is no way it will be 6270. I'm going with this is a glitch until whatever set of numbers thrown out there somewhat resemble what I'm seeing in my town.

If this keeps happening, I will literally not get the final prize.
