Have a feeling this all ties back to fixing the "negative tasks completed" glitch.
Had all of my tasks "complete" (and for some, like "Unlock Ray Patterson" for this event, they just restarted).
It also probably is why some people got given a baby Spuckler for Brandine's birthing task (even if they'd cancelled the task, or if they didn't receive one when the task finished). Killed 2 birds with 1 stone, really.
Not for me. Marge still has -4 rounds of Protest Something in my task book (Android). I can't check my iPad right now, it's busy updating to iOS 8.4.1.
ah it just kinda sucks because I had intentionally left some of them unfinished so I had quests for everyone at the happy sumo and beer and brawl. But now, that day is over. sadface.

This, so much of this, same thing happened, quests that were 2/3 complete automatically finished, which aggravated me, on the plus side i can move on to making bonsai
:shock: some of these days, because of al the glitches and fixes, there might be no other option for EA to nuke the game ... Meaning we all have to start from the beginning .... :shock: :twisted:
I just had an auto complete on the monorail quest for Homer to air Bitey. Bart then laid some pennies on the track and now I need to complete more project board tasks. However Homer still has about 10 hours to go before he actually finishes walking Bitey, which is a cute animation btw! Hope this doesn't mess the questline up.
