I couldn't get in the game for two days until yesterday. Just like roving blackouts during the summer months, I think that's now happening with this game. I have lost the connection a couple times today. Best thing you can do, is contact an EA Rep., so they will know that there are still issues with this game. I do know, that some players disconnected the tracks to their stations, and which ever buildings were causing crashes, they put into storage, over the last few days when there were major problems. try disconnecting the tracks first, then see if that helps. Also, any decorations, or other multiple items, put those into storage.

I have had the tracks disconnected since the start of the issues. I can't store anything now because the game freezes immediately.

Try logging out of Origin, and then back in. This (almost) always works.

When visiting friends I keep getting kicked out after every few friend visits. I don't know if this is coinciding with projects being completed in Springfield Heights but each time I get back into the game there is something ready in SH. A new development is that I can tap on buildings in my own Springfield where neighbors have dumped trash. Each time I do I get kicked out.

Is anyone else having this issue?

Same but get kicked out after every visit or cant get in a neighbours town at all, also game kicks me out at Kwik-E-Mart
every time scratch-r is ready
only started with the monorail update

When you get the load screen? That means its time to restart my device.

If its the Bart screen of death, then that won't work.

I'm one day behind the target in terms of blueprints, actually Im close to 73000 and probably 75000 this evening...
But I cannot visit friends, here the missing blueprints!
I have tried to go through every hint you have provided:
    1) disconnect the monorail (done)
    2) don't visit while waiting for short term jobs (and even long terms...)
    3) visit KL instead of SF...

But still it crashes after one or two visits!! Moreover doesn't collect the point for the visit when crash, so most of the time when I get back I'm on the same friend, no way to go ahead!
Any other hints for me? Am I the only one in this situation?

    EDIT I'm on ipad4 iOS 8.1

Please add every hint you have or what you have done to visit your friends without crash.. Thanks!

It could be the device you're playing on. When I play the game on my tablet, it crashes going to friends towns but if I play on my phone, its fine and has no issues. Technically my tablet is newer and has better specs but it still doesn't like TSTO for some reason.

If you have a different device, I might try that first. Good luck!

For me there are two buildings in my town that a friend has dumped trash on. If I tap on them I get kicked out. I've tried using a different devise as well as deleting and reinstalling the game. Neither worked.

my game had got so bad crashing I'd almost given up visiting neighbours then I awoke early this morning, didn't collect anything but went straight to my neighbours and dumped trash on all 100 within half an hour! I'm going to try it again tomorrow morning to see if it works again. It seems with nothing coming up for collection and no neighbours visiting me the game stayed stable.

My town crashes every couple of friend visits, too. It's been doing this since the SH update. It's super frustrating

Someone has dumped 3 lots of garbage in various buildings in my town and if I click to collect it shuts the game down...

Try putting the buildings in inventory and then take them out again. Of course be aware that if the building is associated with a character that will store the character and interrupt their job. Also will interrupt any character that is working inside that building. You'll get a warning first about the associated character, but not about someone working in the building. Some have said this solved the crashing problem in this case. Good luck!
