    Poor Akira has been continually re-potting the same Bonsai in my SF for weeks now, with no end in sight. Needless to say he's quite bored and contemplating possible retirement. :roll:

    Yikes. They fixed that (for me at least) -- but I don't remember exactly when. He'd been stuck just like you describe, and suddenly one morning I logged in and got the popup saying a bonsai had been placed in my storage. Sometime early this week -- or was it last week? Sorry, my sense of time is off. I'm retired. Technically, there's no need to even know what day it is. (Or year, for that matter.) ;)

    Did you try storing/unstoring him?

    Yeah, I think they fixed mine too. Re-pot was an option for me today so I have about 5 hours left to go to see if I get the bonsai

    My Akira is still broken. I've pulled him in and out of storage at least five times. Customer support didn't even know what I was talking about until the third time I went through it. And even when "Shawn" finally figured out what I meant, he claimed he couldn't do anything about it and would have to escalate, but only after I tried on another device.

    I never did anything to Akira and he just started working again. At the same time, my negative task went away and Brandine was fixed. No update. So they are fixing the game files, but not all at once.

    Yup. And now I'm being told that re-pot bonsai is no longer a repeatable quest!

    I've done that multiple times (especially after reading that the issue had been fixed for others) but no luck whatsoever.

    It's relatively harmless, although I've also had negative tasks, plus Brandine is due to deliver in a few days...

    I experienced the same thing as many others: Akira endlessly repeating the same task over and over. All if a sudden it auto-finished at the same time as my megative task book numbers cleared.

    Yesterday, I sent Akira to prune the bonsai. Now I have two options again: plant and re-pot. Hopefully, I'll get another bonsai in 12 hours' time.

    I wonder if I will then have to choose plant or if I can go straight to either pruning or re-potting.

    Today I have Akira as the OP. I don't know if I just missed it before or not. I have gotten a Bonsai since the "fix".

    @fishingguy73: The issue is Akira is suppose to be able to make Bonsai plants. It has not been working for some. Some have a "fix" but looks like it needs more work. I'd recommend getting Akira anyway if you are spending donuts now because you get a building, a character, and a fun questline. But don't forget more premium stuff is coming in this event.

    I thought my Akira was fixed. Finally repot was an option again. Got the bonsai. Sent him to plant. Just fished planting and now the only option is to plant again.

    Update -

    Ran a few errands, then logged in to set tasks, and was happily surprised to find 'A Bonsai has been placed in your inventory', followed by a Spuckler birth announcement (although Brandine is still PG and not due for a couple days) :!:

    No idea what to expect next, but Akira and I are thrilled with this (brief?) respite.

    So I just collected from the repot bonsai task and got the bonsai. Now I can only send him to plant bonsai, which I did. I wonder if I'll then be able to send him prune the bonsai or only plant, plant, plant.

    Well, I finally talked to someone at support who actually plays the game and knew what was up. She couldn't fix it, but she was very helpful and put a great many notes on my escalation. Since she actually knew what was going on, hopefully now they know what's going on. I'm really hoping to hear something about it soon.
    This has been incredibly frustrating for me on a couple levels. Let me just warn everyone, if you contact support and they want to access your game, tell them that they can't spend your donuts to, say, speed up a task, unless they promise to put them back immediately :x

    What?!? Did they actually do that and not give them back initially? That's just wrong :(

    Yes. The second time I talked to support, six of my donuts had disappeared when I opened the game again. I was in a mild panic. The lovely lady I talked to the third time restored them to me. She was, as I mentioned, very helpful.

    uhhhhhhh, my Akira had some auto-triggering Fuguaboutit dialogue that kicked all my worker dudes out of their cushy premium rate jobs! What a guy! This might just be a normal time limit thing on getting extra pay (and not part of the recent problems with Akira), but it's still a bummer.

    Also, I'd like the ability to make huge bonzai versions of the characters' heads (as they appear over the Moon Bounce when it's done bouncing someone).

    Edit/update: Akira just finished his plant bonsai task, and I can only send him planting again, no pruning nor re-potting. So definitely not fixed.
