Be careful moving your monorail tracks around--bad glitch

Prev1
I just deleted and re-installed. Every single building from this event is missing and it won't even let me build a new project board because "You don't have enough resources"

Game is completely borked. Don't move those tracks.

**Edited to add: Just in case other people are getting this, I was finally able to build a new Project Board and now everything seems to be back, except now I have two Project Boards, both functional. Weird and wrong.**

Like I've been saying in other threads if it can go wrong it will. We're playing on a minefield of glitches.

    Now THERE'S an idea!!

A new Event/Krustyland building. Every time you tap on the payout, you get a random glitch.
Could be tile-stacking, could be infinite Bob Mutants, could revert you back a level, could be the Harpies...

Tons of fun for the whole family!! And EA can claim all the glitches are on purpose!! Win-win!!

Talking about a minefield of glitches... With all the stuff that has been happening in the past few months I’m slowly asking myself if this is really only due to recent updates being programmed badly and being rushed out with zero testing or if the problem is much more complicated and the game itself is actually sort of “broken” by now...

Excuse me for not being able to be more specific, I have no idea about programming, but since it seems that every single update has problems with major, increasingly game-wrecking bugs I’m worried that it’s not just the result of the devs’ laziness with programming the respective update.

Could it be that after three years of updates and expansions and – assuming the devs never spent much time working on the “core” game code to keep everything in order – the game code has become so “big” and blown-up that properly controlling and updating it has become impossible?

I’m picturing it similarly to the problems we face with our own towns – if you simply play update after update and keep adding stuff without taking a step back to redesign and order your town properly, sooner or later it will look like one big giant messy pile of stuff and not like a functioning, small mini Springfield. Could it be that the devs have neglected keeping the order in the “core” game files for so long that now with every new update it has become totally unpredictable how the “new” code will interact – or very often conflict – with the “old” code?

Im losing track pieces when moving them around , working in the tracks submenu of the Build section.

I just earned the first 5 track pack in Act 2, went to place them on the new Tet terminal and "lost" one when i put one aside that wasnt 'connected' to the existing track line perfectly.

    Anyone else getting this happen?

Also the tracks and terminals are not buildings or decorations or roadwork - you cant blind them.

You can make them invisible, you have to scroll down the list a bit though

Just an update: each time I log in, the game forgets that I have a Project Board. I'm still able to collect duct tape, but I have to purchase a new Project Board every time I log on. I may end up with a field of them. Also, the thumbs up are no longer located at my dump. If I want to collect them, I have to track down each person individually and click on them. This glitch stinks.

Hahahaha project board city! This glitch is quite funny to me but I can understand how annoying it'll be

Mine says the first pack in Act 2 has 3 pieces, but I definitely had 5. The second one (which I just received) say it has 3 and I received 3.

I was trying to tweak the path of my monorail by moving my previously placed tracks and suddenly half my buildings went blank.

This happened to me. I just clicked my "move" button and clicked a piece of cement and everything showed back up again. But after I went to my purchasing menu I noticed I could buy all sorts of unique buildings. It wouldn't let me build buildings that cost in-game cash. But I was able to buy a second Kamp Krusty and Frink's Lab. I only have one Frink. There were several other buildings I could buy, but didn't. Went back in one day and it was all fixed.

Ugh. Well they fixed it by rolling me back to Sunday morning. Which means I have a functional Springfield, but I lost 27,000 duct tapes and also the weekly bonus. If I have to spend donuts to finish Act II, I'm going to be super annoyed. But I am grateful they fixed it.

Anyway, there are tons more reports of people losing characters and buildings when they are moving Monorail tracks. I wouldn't do it for a while.

Had this problem last week. Narrowed it down to a corner piece of track. Not sure if it was the track itself or where I was placing it. Stored said piece of track then I had to store and return each building that was disappearing to get my characters back. Reconfigured my track, and everything is working great now. Ea was involved and a so called specialist was on my case. Not sure if they fixed it or if I did, but it is fixed now.

Did you make sure the characters that came the your disappearing buildings came back. I had 20+ characters that I had to liberate by storing their buildings and replacing them.

shhhhh..... don't give EA any ideas.... I swear, EA reads this forum and glazes over any of the concerns and picks up on what they think is humorous and will stick it in the game. "yada, yada, yada, game freezing - write that into upcoming satiristic quest dialogue, the kids will think we're cool hipsters .... yada, yada, Brandine - let's throw them a free baby, yada, yada, MINEFIELD OF GLITCHES!!! Now there's gaming gold! Coming, Halloween 2015 for 250 donuts - the Glitch Minefield!"

Sorry bud, this sounds like a horrible glitch.

What kind of device are you playing on? and Direwolf?

Thank you for the sympathy. I guess it could have been a lot worse if they'd taken a long time to fix it. I'm playing on an iPhone. After the glitch I switched to my Kindle Fire, but it didn't make a difference.

Just pointing out.. You need to think how any given "glitch" can be used to your advantage..

    Just saying.

I had this problem right after collecting 3rd prize of act 2... I hadn't placed many track pieces, had maybe 20 of various shapes in storage, placed 4 straight track pieces off on their own and have not had a problem since
