Homer's Notification Voice Is Starting To Annoy Me

I never heard his voice from notifications. I turned the notifications off in the settings of my phone.

RS has a point there, don´t let this game enslave you!

Yeah just turn off motifications. You know when your stuff is already just turn them off I did.

I don't think there is a way to change the notification sounds for apps. I think it's build in. If the game was a part of Game Center, yes you can change it.

I'm, of course, your classic stooge who really likes the notifications. Right now, my notifications are out of wack. I kinda rely on them to know when stuff is ready because I don't pay enough attention.

the answer you're looking for is NO. an apps notification sound cannot be changed. only turned off. maybe on a jailbroken device but idk.

I keep the banner notifications on, but turned the sound part off. It's nice because I still get notified without having to hear sounds.

I could not imagine sound notifications for this game, I would definitely shoot it. I keep the badge icon, that is it. Even tried the banner one again the other day, hated it, gave me no real information. Was hoping to see names of people that visited my towns, but I always just got notification that a task was complete. I want notifications on who visited, what they did so I can delete the deadbeats....pricks.

I turned off the notification sounds after the first time I heard it, I also turn my volume off because the in game sounds will annoy me after a few minutes and it will highly annoy the people around me (i.e. my roommate). My dad keeps all his sounds on and when I go to his house the sounds drive me nuts going off every 5 minutes.

Keeping the badge icons on will give you notifications but just no sound? I only ask cause I am unsure and of course the moment I am trying to change this all is when nobody is actually done with tasks lol

My good god man, you joined the forum at the beginning of November and it is only now that the Homer notifications have begun to annoy you? That's why I came to this forum in the first place to find out if they could be turned off. If they couldn't, I doubt that this game would have lasted a week.

That awkward moment when your are at the shops in the cheek out and homer pipes up and says "wahoo new building" or something, then you notice that everybody herd.

Yeah, I get banners on the top of my screen and lock screen but I don't hear any sound. In settings under notifications you can turn sounds off.
