Krustyland has a separate item counter so you don't need to worry about that, but for your Springfield go into edit mode and make the buildings transparent, scroll around your town and store any items that are hidden behind them, you would be surprised how many fences and bushes are hidden behind things

I nuked my town yesterday and found a bunch of items I can use in Krustyland. Maybe that is an option.

youd be surprised how many items you can store that are hidden behind buildings (fences, flowers, etc)

Welcome to my world.... It SUCKS! I've been through my game and stored everything that is hidden, which was ALOT, but with all the new content lately, I'm back at the max cap. Hopefully it'll be raised (by alot) soon.
