2 different games from 2 different servers/devolpers means there is a big issue going on outside the games.

People are mentioning this "Amazon (AWS) Region US-EAST-1 (Virginia)" and it seems to be a service provider issue of some sorts for apps. Unfortunately, I doubt the developers are working on bug fixes on a Sunday morning...
