They are good ideas would also like to see more secrets for different characters. Like tapping Apu unlocks manjula. Different things to grow at Cletus. Little mini games. Like the love machine @ moves or the video arcade. And more ways to get dohnuts.

I'd really like to be able to zoom out farther so that I can see more of my city at once!

Having to scroll around to see all of my city so much makes me rather seasick if I'm not careful! *urp*

I like numbers 2 and 3. Doughnuts are hard to come by and with all the glitches, I am afraid to pay money for them to have them disappear.

Oh, damn, so many...

Lenny & Carl as characters without buildings (maybe one combo unlock?) where they can drink at Moe's, work shifts at the power plant, and easily do other things.

Dr. Hibbert and the hospital. Various surgeries, crazy completion times, great money, can be around the size of Springfield Elementary... maybe find some way to throw Dr. Nick Riviera in there too once the hospital is built.

Otto Mann as a single character without a building where he can drive the school bus randomly around the streets of your town (like the walking of pets/flying kites/jogging/playing sax) and then have other stuff incorporated into the game like 24hr drive a school field trip or something with King Toot's music store already in the game. I could see a "Testing out new instruments for fun" type thing lasting around 6 hours.

Kang & Kodos are a bit outside the traditional Simpson: Untapped character choices, but they are well known since their appeareance in the original Springfield Treehouse of Horror (In 'Hungry are the Damned', the family are abducted by Kang and Kodos) and I believe have been in almost all the Treehouse of Horrors ever since plus other episodes. What they would have as jobs I don't know but I'm sure there are many creative and funny choices.

I think a nice addition would be changing the mission system. I think performing actions on friends' pages should count toward mission goals. If I have to collect money from 5 stores, it would be nice if I could use my friends' places to help accomplish it.

I'd like to communicate with neighbors, but real-time chat is probably not very useful. I would love to be able to post messages for those who come to visit me (e.g. "What do you think of my new government complex?" ). I would also like to be able to comment on other's towns that I visit.

Beyond that, the day/night feature discussed in a recent thread sounded great to me.

The ability to convert cash to doughnuts would also be nice, maybe at $100000 per dozen.

1. The ability to send unique decorations to friends only available through visiting their towns. These decorations are unique as its the only way to get them. There can be special premium decorations as well that friends can purchase for you through this "friend gifting" option

2. Fix the looping glitch quests of Grampa & Cletus

7. More ways to earn free donuts. Add a collection thing where a certain character collects x amount of items or the whole set of a collection & it will net you money, xp & donuts. Example....collecting duff cans for Homer, Malibu Stacy dolls for Lisa, radioactive man comics for Bart, Squishee's for Apu, store coupons for Marge, etc....

A chat system where you could also simply leave notes in other Springfields would be just amazing. @TC, with the Springfield Downs odds in the game, you wouldnt ever see those Donuts again.

Remove the dog head from the racetrack-I hate that thing.
A character task bar, dirt blocks like paving blocks, and I agree 1 block grass and pavement tiles, would make sidewalks way easier. And yes a easier way to move fencing.

Wow, I don't post very much it seems.. Its fun to see some ideas I posted so long ago actually come close to the developers' own ideas down the road. This thread was created back in the day.. way, way back. 8)

As far as suggestions go, I would just have EA work hard on creating stability, adding missing vocal talent for characters, and providing the correct percentage bonus premium items advertise to customers. I am sure the new content will be great no matter what they create; the development team really excels in this aspect without doubt.

But also, just off the top of my head, it would be cool if we could use the Post Office to actually leave messages for players in their Springfield.

single square decorations would be nice.

I for one hope that EA does NOT include donuts in the racetrack. That would tie gambling to actual cash and could possibly be seen as an illegal gambling app in several states and might be against Apple's 55+ page EULA.

Leaving messages in friend's springfields would be nice.

I'd personally love a way to post snapshots automatically online to other than friends without doing the whole snap & stitch photoshop rigamarole.
