He was the original creator of Itchy and Scratchy who, with the help of Bart, won a 800 million dollar law suit against the Itchy and Scratchy studios
I would chose Hank Scorpio
But I'm bias since it's from my favorite Simpsons episode
And this is all you need to know about the Ymca coach
Does Uter have good animations? I haven't seen him doing much in other towns.
It also seems like LuAnn has some good jobs.
Coach Krupt causes troubke for the kids DODGEBALL lol
I also like Frank Grimes too from this list.
I love camp krusty. Only downside is it's a skin instead of a character - but it has a great quest line. One thing to consider - we had a Black Friday sale on premium items last year. Might want to wait till after Halloween.
*Luann - has a couple of separate questlines (including one for Investorettes), unlocks Fleet-A-Pita for both KL & SF, and gives Kirk an 8hr premium rate task.
*Jasper - helps with Heights (plus is a pretty cool character)
*Uter - helps with Rail Yard (plus is a pretty cool character)
*Akira - creates bonsai for free as a task, pretty cheap at 100 donuts.
*Jimbo - should be able to trick-or-treat for Halloween event (as per last couple of years), but is most expensive stand-alone character (apart from S&T who pay double-rate).
For just being cool:
*Hank Scorpio - cool character & tasks, but is expensive.
*Frank Grimes - classic character, associated item is % bonus not building payout
I agree with Linkwick's post, though not necessarily in that order.
However:
Luann = A, great story line, great visual tasks, unlocks Fleet-a-pita and premium job for Kurt, very iconic recurring character
Jasper = A, voiced, great story line, great visual tasks, very iconic recurring character & makes SH pills
Uter = A, great story line, great visual tasks, very iconic recurring character (trick-or-treats?)
Akira = A, great story line, great visual tasks, voiced, makes bonsai, inexpensive, unlocks premium job for Ralph, very iconic recurring character
Jimbo = A-, great story line, great visual tasks & very iconic recurring character but a little pricey (trick-or-treats?)
Crazy Cat Lady = A-, great story line, great visual tasks & very iconic recurring character
Manjula = B+, great story line, great visual tasks, very iconic recurring character
Hank Scorpio = B+, memorable classic episode appearance, great visual tasks, cool building
Lampwick, The guy with the Rocket Car = B, great story line, great visual tasks, inexpensive considering comes with nice multiplier, memorable classic episode appearance
Princess Kashmir = B, great story line, great visual tasks, very iconic recurring character
Lurleen = B, great story line, great visual tasks, memorable classic episode appearance
Sherri and Terri = B, great story line, great visual tasks, very iconic recurring characters, used in krustyland but a little creepy
Frank Grimes = B-, memorable classic episode appearance, inexpensive considering comes with nice multiplier
Mr. Largo = B-, voiced, great visual tasks, very iconic recurring character, helps with monorail
Miss Springfield = B-, great story line, great visual tasks, iconic recurring character but sorta pricey
Laura Powers = C+, memorable classic episode appearance (trick-or-treats?) but house looks way out of scale
Lugash = C+, great visual tasks, voiced, sort of forgettable show appearance
Don Vittorio = C, iconic recurring character
Arnie Pye = C, iconic recurring character, voiced, unlocks task for Ch6, good visual task but flying tasks are annoying
Herb Powell = D+, I'll probably buy at some point but hasn't been a priority with how much content we've had. Seems like he'd be a B/B+ at most
McBane = D, not a fan of skins, but cheaper than Kamp Bart
Coach Kurrupt, The YMCA Coach? = D, I guess he was on the show at some point, might be voiced. Springfield had too many gyms before he was released.
Chester Dupree = D, Never even appeared on the show.
Stacy Lovell = D, Memorable episode but I'm not interested.
Kamp Krusty Bart = D, This was a great episode, but pricey. Might make sense on Black Friday if available at a discount and you don't have any of Bart's other premium skins.
From a financial standpoint, the cracker factory she comes with is also usable by Kirk at a 8h premium rate. She also gives you access to the Fleet-a-Pita bus, which makes a nice decoration around your town.
Her 24h task is to ride the MegaGlobe, which is always entertaining to watch. I like to imagine she's carelessly running over people. :P
Awesome list!
On the subject of McBain. Unlike other skins, He comes with a building ... the Film Set which is IMHO a really cool building. With a relatively small footprint. And he has three great visible tasks. His 8 hour task (battle commie **** ) is reminiscent of Hank Scorpios flamethrower task and Brandine's protect springfield from terrorists. His 24 hour is a showstopper. And his 12-hour undercover one is neat, too. Those are the task lengths I use most frequently anyway, (wolfcastle himself has a great 4-hour so between the two of them they're outdoors a lot.
Next to Otto, I like my McBain the most. And love the building.
The rest rank from "almost-must have" to "meh" based on your particular affection for them or the episodes they appeared in. (For example, for me, Disco Stu and Belle/Burlesque House because I love the heck out of Disco Stu, and "Bart after Dark" is an all-time fav episode, but YMMV.)
But i sympathize with your dilemma. I'm at 247 donuts. So close to finally getting Barney and the bowling alley, which I've felt is a must-have since i started playing. But today i spent some time rearranging my KL, and i again started wishing i had the complete set of rides. So should i get Barney, or get Mt. Krustmore, log ride, and Balls of Death?
Or wait to see what awesomeness comes out for Halloween??
It's tough, these first world problems. Whew! Good luck making your selection!
