Could Different Terrain Ever Be Added?

A very popular request, and one that I would also love to be fulfilled. :)

Was just thinking it today. Wished I had roads without sidewalks. I'm from a rural area so dirt roads would be great, especially in my woodsy/**** areas.

Same here. I really want to make a woodsy area, but it just won't look right with perfect green grass. The ground varies out in the woods, grass, dirt, water, rocks, etc.

There's a thread you can add your vote to. Hasn't been added yet, but some of us are still hopeful

There is info somewhere showing images of alternative ground surfaces that were planned for SH but weren't released.

If it was impossible, they wouldn't waste time and money making those. So it's just a matter of - do they want to implement it and when.
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!

I wonder if it's server intensive because when they added the desert tiles they did it as items instead of making it a toggle-able surface...

The surface options have never expanded right? The ones that were available day one are the ones still available all these years later.. so there must be a reason.
