PS: I got the House of Evil when it first came out.

Reading about a bit, the house of evil gift (or icon if you previously had it) unlocked world-wide at 9am BST but the daily challenges do not unlock/start until 8am local time.

The glitch was hitting people who's time zone gives them the house of evil (and access to the daily challenge screen) before the daily challenges unlock. So the screen does not work.

It looks like it fixes itself after 8am local time for those that have the glitch.

Like you i am in the UK so shouldn't have a problem. I stored mine when it was given and quite happy to leave it there a while.... Just in case
