It took me a few days to figure out, what I think would be the best method in distributing Formless Terrors (FT) to assist my 40-50 neighbors (and myself of course :P ).

The last couple of days I start the day with approx. 60-70 terrors, but some days I might have accumulated a bit more (100-ish)
Here is what I do with them:
[li]During the daily visits, I will dump 1 or 2 FT per neighbor, depending on the amount I have when I start. If I get a FT from that neighbor during visiting his/her town I will spent that FT back into that town as well.[/li] [li]There are always neighbors in which towns I cannot release FT, because they're full. We all have that and for me it hovers around 10%. Those FT that I cannot spent for that neighbor will remain part of my stock. If I get a FT from that neighbor in their town this also becomes also part of my stock.[/li] [li]At the end of the rounds I end up with less (but not zero) FT, lets say around 30.[/li] [li]Those 30 FT will be used by me for neighbors who release FT in my town. Typically I return 5 as a minimum with 2 sidenotes: a) if their town is full, I will try to remember to return the favor at a later time, but this is no guarantee. b) if they only have room for less then 5, I will fill their town up untill it's full and what remains stays in my stock.[/li] [li]I will release 10 FT in a neighbors town, if I: a) get an in-game message telling me neighborX has released FT in my town or, b) get a notification (while not playing) and I'm able to logon at that moment... ... to immediately return the favor. Most of the time they are still online, their town is free of FT and I can release 10 of them which they can then collect[/li] [li]For some of neighbors I know in which timezone they live, because they play when I'm
sleephappy.gif. For them I will release 5-10 FT in their town when I start yawnee.gif and go to bed.[/li]

In the meantime I will collect FT from my own town adding to my stock during normal play. Because I'm on vacation, I can collect almost every nightmare the game generates and also keep the kids busy for most of the time and have them tell 5 stories in 24 hours.

So that's it and now I going to visit the neighbors. :)

to bad my game chrashes so much while visiting, when it work i always visited your town!

I usually drop maybe 2-3 per town until I get to the bottom chunk of my neighbor list because I know they don't fill up ever so I give them more. The top half at least are either full or can only drop a few anyways. Being an "m" name, I doubt I get 10 a day despite clearing every four or so hours.

I usually try to visit the "m"s but will make more of an effort now. :)

I tried doling out 2 or 3 as I went through my towns today, but it just didn't cut it. I wound up looping back around and started throwing as many FTs into a town as it would take just to lower my inventory on them. I thought I'd never run out.

Now you watch: They'll stop giving so many to drop and then make it a task to drop several hundred later in the game...

When this event started it struck me how different it was from the last event (ah, my brain, which one was it?) in which we dropped items for neighbors - it was so stingy there were hardly any to give out. Maybe the Halloween event is EA's response to our prior complaints. The big complaint with this event is the difficulty visiting neighbors with all the lagging and crashing.

Today I can only drop them into a handful of towns. Every other town is full for me.
I have a few friends that I know they have nothing in their town, but it wont let me drop any in them

    Is this happening to anyone?

I've been dropping when and where I can with a few back and forth between friends that happen to be on at that time. I think clearing them is ridiculously hard! I'm having a lot of lag with this update and scrolling to catch up to the blobs has me clicking on random houses and characters that I then have to clear that menu and exit out of to continue hunting! I'm guessing my neighbours are having the same isssues so I'm patient. :)

I'm seriously thinking of replacing some of my roads with pavement and seeing if that helps track the blobs as well as the nightmares (which we know it does) and go from there.

What is the maximum blobs you can have in your town? I know I've cleared them and seen a couple names pop up at a time but I haven't been able to count how many came from each name.

    Edit for grammar :)
