Pet Cemetery & Snake Log glitch?

The hollow log is working fine for me, are you still using the IRS building? Could you be accidentally tapping it without realising with the extended tap radius? My pet cemetery also works but I've had mine from a previous event and don't know if that would make a difference.

Thanks, but that's not it - my IRS building is in storage, and every time I login, the first thing I do is check the spawn time to see if the cemetery and log are working. No luck.

Crap; EA chat here I come...

ETA: So I'm double-checking this as I wait for my EA chat to begin, and it doesn't happen if I exit the game, but it happens every single time I visit my neighbors. Boo. One less reason to visit neighbors.

Same thing happened to me, except I know I've gotten payout more than once for the cemetery. Today, that happened with all four items (cemetery, mausoleum, freak-mobile, snake log) ... AND the gate to nowhere.

The timer resets and there's no icon floating when I login to the town.

(I haven't tried the force-close or reinstall stuff ... maybe I'll do that stuff first and see what happens. Let me know what EA says, if you reach them.)

UPDATE: I just logged back into that town and there are icons floating over both mausoleums and the pet cemetery. This MORNING when I logged in, the timers on all of those had been reset ... that was only about 3 hours ago, so they couldn't possibly have counted down normally. My freakmobile (which is a 12-hour spawn) shows 9 hours remaining) ... So there must be some weird stuff going on.

And my Gate to Nowhere shows 1 hour remaining. I have NO IDEA what's going on around here. ???

Thanks, Annette - I had forgotten totally about the Frinkmobile and mausoleum, which haven't produced anything in so long that I forgot they were supposed to.

Well, now it's even stranger. I notice that the counters on the mausoleums and cemetery are still counting down as if they had started first thing this morning, even though they just paid out.

I haven't gotten a payout yet from the mirror, but the timer on it says 1 hour remaining, which is accurate based on when I started it yesterday.

So:
6:45 AM -- logged into town. No icons floating. Timers on cemetery, mausoleums, and freakmobile ALL were reset, but nothing to collect.

9:45 AM -- logged into town. Only 3 hours had passed. Icons floating over cemetery and mausoleums. (It wasn't time yet!) I collected materials. Timers on those buildings, immediately after being cleared, STILL showed that 3 hours had passed (e.g., gave me credit for those 3 hours since 6:45)

The freakmobile has not paid out, and has given me credit for those 3 hours ... so I lost last night's cycle of collection on that.

The snake-log doesn't count -- I had it in and out of storage this morning, so I can't tell if it would have paid out ...

This is nuts.

Wow, that makes even less sense than I thought it did. But hey, it sounds like some of the glitch may be working in your favor!

I did check and it's not specific to device type (when is it ever?), I use both Android and IOS, same on both.
So, I contacted them. The chat person hadn't heard of other complaints about this and my case was escalated, so who knows - they requested my Mayhem ID, which was a first.

I'm not even sure we're having the same issue, Annette, but clearly something is really wrong with items spawning event currency. I bet if folks started paying attention, we'd learn that this is a lot more widespread.

If I'm contacted by EA again, I'll be sure to update this thread. Weird & annoying.

When I logged in this morning both my Snake Logs and Freak Mobile had cash icons floating above them, not the snake/zombie icons, but still payed out snakes/zombies when I tapped the cash icon.

Not the same glitch but might be related since it has to do with the icons, strange

EA just resolved this issue for me by resetting my game a couple of weeks back and adding back in all the items and upgrades I'd made since then. Of course, because nothing is ever really perfect, they forgot to add back in the THOH building skins, so I'm not currently earning gummies and there are no adults getting lewd in downtown Springfield. But the CS/tech person sent very nice emails and I can visit neighbors again, so that's something.

I know we dump on EA's customer service a lot - esp when it's via chat or email - but I got lucky and was assigned a nice person, even if she forgot the skins.

My pet cemetary and mausoleums both double produce. Every time I clear them after the timers go down, if I go into my neighbors and come right back; the icons are replaced and I get one more set of skeletons and bunnies. Then I have to wait for the timers to go down again. It sometimes happens with my freakmobile too.
