Why is my avatar not showing?

You have to reach a certain number of posts to get promoted, usually it is around 70 or 80 though i've seen people with fewer posts have been promoted.

actually we used to think it was a number, you need to post a lot around the 20-22 of each month, that's when promotions are given.
