What happened to the FAQ??

Weird. If you go to the "quasi index" and click the FAQ, you also cannot access it from there. Wonder if something went up that they didn't like. Was wondering why my post count went down again today.

Oh thank goodness, I realized that I could just back up to where I had been editing it and copy it from there (since I hadn't closed my browser yet). The good news, then, is that the FAQ isn't actually gone for good... but I'm not going to repost it just yet because I want to know why the **** they deleted it in the first place?

Good news! That is crazy. I would just go ahead and repost it anyway... With a backup copy of your own.

I don't see why they don't just delete individual posts (if that's why this was deleted) instead of deleting something as valuable as this in whole.

My only hypothesis is that they're upset about the info I included about how to ask for donut refunds. I understand that it's a problem if people are abusing that (i.e. trying to get a refund when they've got a working Springfield), but I don't think there's anything wrong with people trying to get money refunded if their game is kaput.

And, yeah, I am going to post the FAQ again. Bugger them. But now it'll need some bumping, folks! I'll add a URL in a minute...

Easier to just delete the whole thing then go in and remove single posts (More time consuming and costing the company more in wages). I presume.

Beat me to it, they've deleted it again, it's definitely something in your post they don't like. Well users were moaning they wanted someone to moderate this forum, looks like they got what they wished for. No offence to the OP.

I kept getting my post deleted when I was trying to quote it for you after you made the first one. The EA Admin said it was getting auto flagged for spam because it had so many links. Maybe that is what is happening? You should PM the admin about it.

Wow, this is just weird. But all the screaming for help goes ignored...

I get that EA might have developed a thin skin after a lot of bashing here, but to remove a really really helpful FAQ completely is ridiculous.

Because if they are going to delete every thread touching on how to get refunds, they'll have to delete about a quarter of the whole board.

Oh, and I wouldn't be surprised if this thread gets deleted if they really are that bothered by it.
