I getting extremely cheesed off now. Trying to get skeletons is like trying to get blood out of a stone! I should have at least 4 and I've waited after the Brown House kids challenge but they all come out as snakes and zombies even though I've got a least 4 skeletons due.
Thanks to all the wonderful tips on this forum (I could kiss u all, I really could! ) I got skeletons to spawn and I'm done the first shopkeepers challenge. Pretty sure mine didn't auto complete. I did one thing different than was posted, or maybe it was posted and it flew over my head. Anyway, heres what I did:
[li]Separate brown house far from ur other brown houses. [/li]
[li]Send only skeleton spawning kids to that separated brown house. I have Bart, Database and Sherri & Terri. [/li]
[li]After 4hrs :roll: make sure town is overrun with star spawn (go to friends until u get message ur overrun) and tap
only on the house with the skeleton kids. DO NOT RELEASE THE KIDS SPAWNING OTHER NIGHTMARES. [/li]
[li]Tap the skeletons that come out and count them. A few will spawn somewhere else in ur town. Tap ones around the house then find a piece of road and leave screen there until the few remaining skeletons wander by. Making sure I got all my skeletons before releasing the other kids is the one little thing I did different from suggestions posted here. I counted and received all the skeletons I was supposed to. Sounds neat, and that might be exactly the solution for many people, so thank you for sharing the exact sequence like this!
but here's what happened to me that didn't happen to you. I did the first three things you mentioned. I had not tapped any other nightmare source at all. None of the other brown houses, none of the premium items that would generate nightmares.
. I isolated and tapped on the brown house that had ONLY skeleton-kids in it. I should have gotten 18 skeletons. I got 18 bunnies. I had tapped nothing else. The correct "number" but the wrong nightmare.
Isolated and tapped my mausoleums ... Got the correct number ... But bunnies instead of skeletons.
Later, I tapped my bunny house and got (correctly) 18 bunnies from the bunny house. I tapped my zombie house and got (correctly) 18 zombies. I tapped on the snake house and got only 4 snakes. Should have gotten 8, but ... What the heck.
This is nuts. But all these ideas are worth trying!
