Must admit to being a little bored with the never ending crafting we seem to be stuck with at the moment, it would probably be better if the crafting items were more balanced in most events but they tend to be weighted towards certain items unfortunately so you struggle to get 1 paticular item have hundreds that are not needed of another.
Yes!! If I could vote for "Yes" any harder, I would!
The first event I ever did had the old system (Stonecutters) and it was so much easier. Life is complicated enough, I don't want to have to think too hard about this game too!
I'm pretty sure **** had the old system as well, but then every major event since then has had the new crafting and Act system, right? I hate the Acts so much.

Lots of people complained about how boring and monotonous the game was so they made it more challenging. Now everyone wants it back to the boring way. I always loved the boring way. I'm here for the prizes. Just gimme my stuff.
Make Nightmare Pile like Zombie Sandwich. All kids trick or treat at once.

For the record, I never complained about it being too boring. :P Wasn't the problem that there weren't enough events or Level updates? So people racked up the cash during the long lull periods, but had nothing to spend it on? See, now it's the opposite problem. I've been playing for a year and a half, and I still don't have all the land/water, and I'm still saving for my last last Aspirational (Sit-N-Rotate). Granted, some of that is because I never had a house farm, but still. All the events now use so many of the characters that it's hard to save cash during that time. Plus any time I do save some up, they release a new Level and I have to blow at least a million again. *sigh* Springfield problems.

I don't get it. How is collecting gift cards for a set of prizes or collecting goo for a different set of prizes any different then the more recent collect S'mores for a set of prizes, collect gummies for a different set of prizes?
I appreciate that they have tried to develop different game mechanics.
I quit another game that used the same mechanics for every event. That got old fast.
As long as in the end, i can obtain all the earnable prizes, i don't care what method we use.
But when prizes are left only to random chance, I'll pass. I don't like casinos. I don't like putting in hours of work then not receiving what I'm going for.
All my designs look unfinished because i can't place as many plants, streetlights, and fences as i would like. PLEASE REMOVE THE LIMIT, EA!
oh my god i loved this type of event (except for de spinning wheel). I really hope they bring it back. Also the community price thing would be great to see again

I so agree with you! I think the current system is EA's revenge for our refusal to accept the wheel and convert TSTO to a game of hazard.
