Ea should stop changing currency. It is their way of taking crumbs of real money from currency each time they change it. This is a manipulative method of earning money. We have to stop playing because they abuse their users. F***em
Actually, the x-mas info box did say "Through January 10." not "Until January 10." The term through is inclusive of the whole day. Also got miffed by the poor usage of terminology.
I got completely screwed. I had almost 3000 coins and the stockings never showed up on my game. After awhile I started to assume the stockings would show up on or after the Jan. 10 deadline. Nope. All my coins are gone and I got nothing but wasted time to show for it. Did this happen to anyone else?
I got a message 5 minutes ago: "Collect your Santa Coins from your buildings" or smth like that))) I even turned off all lights on my buildings today in the morning...
BTW It was the most sad update in this game...

Did you check for the XMas tab under the build menu ever? The stockings came for everyone at the same time. Must have unfortunately missed out on the dialogue.

Something will come eventually. Ignore all the chatter on here about updates. All EA said was the stockings were over Jan. 10. Not once did they say there'd be a content update at the same time. A lot of people got their hopes up over nothing.

I can't remember the exact status, but are you sure it stated 'through January 10th' and not 'through to January 10th?

Yeah, EA announced on Facebook and through the game that the promotion was ending Jan. 10, so there's nothing wrong about the coins disappearing.
No, they said until the 10th and before the 10th. Anything after 00:01 is a bonus.
