Limit to how many Santa hats and baubles from visiting neighbours?

Mee, too. How many neighbours can you actually visit to get all hats? I never got more than 100 hats per daily visit - as far as I know.

Afaik, we only receive crafting resources (Hats & Baubles) for the first 50 MerryMakers tapped, so just shy of 17 Neighbors (3 taps for the first 16 & 2 taps for the 17th).

This is pretty me how it works every event.

That being said I am having an amazing run of donut drops from tapping neighbors since the event dropped!

Hey I just observed my "rate of hat getting" go down during visits! Started off at 3 hats per tap, then after only a few neighbors it changed to only 1 hat per tap.

I'm not saying this is the worst moment in human history. It's not as bad, for example, as when we put Jesus on a stick. But at the same time I wouldn't characterize this hat situation as "Grrrrrrreat!" either.
