Well they might not be immediate as I believe EA is slowly building the character list starting with primaries followed by secondary characters. Although, we have had a few one episode characters (Hank Scorpio, Funzos, Mayan God, etc). So with EA you never know what they have next in store.
They seem to pick specific episodes and build around them (Mr. Plow, Marge be not proud). I have hope that one day (maybe this Christmas) we will get Plow King, Widow's Peak and Crazy Vaclav with Crazy Vaclav's Place of Automobiles ("put it into H!").
Am I the only one who liked Halloween and the Zombie squishing?
I would love to have some snakes to haunt around town.
Make Whacking day come true EA!
Give us something to squish
Maybe we could haunt snakes in other towns as well, since I really like everything that encourages inteaction with your neighbours!
I like your thinking, would be good to go snake bashing in your friends town Would have to have a limit on it like the coin collection otherwise there wouldnt be enough snakes to go round lol
One more here for Barry - as any kind of character, free or premium. I have not spent a buck on the game yet, but this would be the best way to break this jail for me.
Barry the White Jailbreaker!!

You with the one eye! Of course there will be snake squishing, why else do Whacking Day?
Heh, heh. I may have to recant my previous statement. Sometimes I forget that we are living in politically correct times. It seems unlikely the game would allow for snakes to be squished. Zombies? No problem. But snakes, hmm. Perhaps the work around is that the plot follows Lisa's plight and we collect snakes for safety. There, that's nice. Right? Maybe a funny little snatching up noise follows the tap.

being how crazy this world has now become you could be right with not being allowed to squish the snakes, but lets hope that not the case and we can start whacking! lol

Because the Simpsons are always sooo concerned with being politically correct!
Sure, the fine folks at PETA might complain but I would hope that this would not be enough to prevent a Whacking Day update.

Well they certianly used to enjoy being inncorrect. Nelson smoked! But they've cleaned up a bit, become a little less edgy. Perhaps that's why some of us old school Simpson fans have faded away. But even in the Whacking Day episode (just watched, but not closely) I don't think any snakes were actually whacked (not that you see anyway). Sure, Homer beats up the wooden ones but not the others. Just saying, if they need a work around...drive the snakes to safety via the soothing bass tones of Mr. White. This is all just conjecture anyway.
So many great suggestions. Hopefully the snow will be long gone, but Whacking Day can be a celebration of Spring (in the US), so how about an ice cream parlor?

So much so that you wish to beat it to death?
