Are we limited to receiving 5 gifts too?

I think it's like when you have double handshakes on a building. Two people dropped a 5th Present in your town at the same time.

When someone loads your town in their neighborhood it loads a 'snapshot' of your town from the last save on the server, so if two people enter your town at the same time they both get the same 'snapshot' - which includes the variable that records how many Presents you have in your town at that time.

If they both drop presents there's nothing to stop both Presents from appearing in your town.

No one can drop presents in my town, it says I've hit the max amount. But I can't find any presents anywhere, even using the x-ray vision. I have no clue where they are, but I guess I'm done getting presents for this event.

I think you should try reporting this to Customer Support. There are too many people who say that other people can't drop Presents in their towns when they can't find any themselves.

the same thing is happening in my wifes town. we search everywhere but no gifts! :evil:

I've had a present I can't find for a week now. After checking my game an hour ago it's now two. If I find them I'm deleting the friends who dropped them in places that are so hard to find especially when I have multiple open areas for presents

Quite rude, they may do it without intend.

The vast majority of my neighbors are from the forum and I considered sending them a PM as a heads up, but then I thought maybe I am just not seeing them. If you don't have a feeder town ( I don't ) then it might be hard to know if you are full or just not getting presents. I get presents from them, I just can't give back!

How do you all feel about getting a PM if you are always full from your neighbors perspective?
I think PMs are always welcome, but maybe that's just me.

Personally I'm happy to receive PM's, especially if it is from a neighbour being helpful:)

Don't care if it's rude. I've had presents I couldn't find for a week now. I finally found them buried in an area with prision walls trees and spots where road and water meets. They were no where near empty spaces. And my empty spaces are all right on top on my landing area. They are the rude ones for dropping presents in horrible places.

The offender has been removed. Bye bye jsailman. You got the naughty treatment and then deleted

I have a neighbor who has been full up for some time now. No presents visible. I would send a PM if that neighbor were on here.
