Snow globe or not snow globe?

Good morning Lynn. I counted 12 (that includes 2 different Burns skins) that can perform in there. I don't know if you get the skins or not once you buy it but I highly doubt it. It's one of those deco's that is cool now but how will you feel about spring, summer, etc...? But once it's gone, we'll we see it again? I'd just get it!
Imagine there's a signature image here.--Lynn McKenzie

    1. Doubt it.
    2. I have 10 characters performing at the moment. Max at any one time.
    3. Was worth it to me.

I bought it (main town) and love it.

LPN, your list doesn't include Bart ... was he maybe on another task when you took that screenshot of the task list?

I have 11 characters performing in the globe at the same time. (The 6 Simpsons -- Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie, and Grandpa -- Santa's Little Helper, Jasper, Burns, Martin and Snow Monster) There are 12 choices, but two are Burns' skins, so you need to choose 1 of those.

As far as how you'll feel during the rest of the year ... that totally depends on you. I keep my Nativity scene out most of the time, and have the Simpson family there when I want a 16 hour task for all of them. Also, I have Martin's Ice Castle out all year, because I love his "Make New Friends" task at that Ice Castle. And I confess to having Ralph eating yellow snow, even in the Springtime.

All of those defy logic, but then again, in my mind, neither does having a guy in a purple mountain setting off a flamethrower in a small town. ;)

But I do love the snow globe. :)

    3. I bought it because I'm a sucker. But it was worth it because it's eye candy!

Seriously how can you justify paying $10 for an animated snow globe? I wouldn't pay $10 for a real snow globe! It looks tacky as hell and the novelty will wear off once the event is over.

Probably for the same reason that my kid spent more than that when he went to see Star Wars last week (though his "novelty" wore off in 136 minutes, and if he wants to look at it again he has to go pay again). Or for the same reason that my neighbor coughs up (pun intended) a couple thousand dollars per year to smoke one pack of cigarettes per day.

We want the globe. Makes us happy. :)

    Enjoy that globe, yo.

Now if they had a drunk tank version of this globe that'd put the alcoholic characters on display in all of their inebriated glory, that'd be an irresistable purchase!

I personally don't want to put the characters through the Simpsons Movie Experience all over again by jamming them inside a dome. It would make me feel like a business tycoon from the 1800s who kept factory workers cooped up with the doors locked. And their activities inside the globe are not risque.

I had almost talked myself into the snow globe until I saw the Murderhorn has been re released. Now I don't know which one to get. :(

    Murderhorn vs snow globe

For me it was the snow globe as it looks cool but wait theeeeeeeres more. It has a big amount of space for a bunch of you're spring fielders to do tasks in. So in that aspect of choosing between two things like that it was any easy decision.

Happy tapping and hope that made sense or helped making you're decision a little easier. The murder horn as one task with ho,we but its not visual so kind of not as cool. Just saying.

Any chance someone who has it could post a picture of it in their town? I have yet to see what it looks like in action...

Just like any other thing I would pay $10 for...I deem it is worth it to me, and I pay for it. I'm sure there are probably things you would buy that I would not. Everybody is different, and they spend their money on what they want....no need for judgement. :? Some people like snow globes...tacky or not. I like the way it looks in the winter area of my town, and the tasks for all the characters in it are great! AND if I only have it out in my town during the winter months, that's good enough for me.
    D'oh!!
