Anyone arrange town by color?

No, but I've thought about it. I like when similar colors are together.

    Alas, I am a coward.

Anybody arrange their town in this manner?

If so, can you post or add me?
I'm dying to see how it looks. :-) [/quote

I have done it with my pink buildings and have now one pink street :)
But to do that with my whole town ? That's to much work for me ;)
And it won't be easy !
But I wish you all the best of luck with it !
If you wish you can add me pokerdude666

Yea, I think I've seen (or heard of) the pink section...this might be the origin of the idea...

    Thanks.

    Interesting idea!

Sounds like a lot of work, and a spreadsheet with a map would probably need to be involved.

    PowerPoint!

    Ya think?

You don't think nuking and then sectioning it out would work? It would be super messy for a bit...

After all the work in SH, you'd really nuke your town MJ?

I actually tried to do this on a small scale with a few of my buildings. I have a reddish-pinkish-orangish gradiant street. It's a bit of a work-in-progress right now, but I have a lot of the buildings I'm going to use (at the moment) in it. I'll probably move the orange house down by the area and maybe the Gulp 'n' Blow + Krusty Burger. Any other ideas?

I try really hard to group complimentary colors together. I don't always succeed, but I try. I don't care much for grouping too many same colored buildings together. It makes it look too much like a house farm.

You are already my neighbor, so have a look.

    P.S.,
Thanks for convincing me to get the Qwikimart Headquarters!
I have been sending 99% of the Springfielders there over and over while Apu goes bowling. It has made chasing down the Partygoers and now Bears so much easier. I plan to keep this task open for as long as possible.

    Yes.
I may have gotten the idea from you. I know I was tapping around when it hit me.
I just figured someone beat me to it...

I haven't put as much thought into my town design...it's hodgepodgey.
I think I go by shape...and some sections are grouped by theme. I tried to be witty but...alas alak...^_^

    Croc: yea...like that.
I'm contemplating replacing buildings as I go.

Me too! Except, I keep Apu working 7-day shifts at his Kwik-e-Mart. That way, he can't be accidentally sent to handle those complaints, and end my money-party. If I suddenly need him for something else, I just store the Kwik-e-Mart to set him free.

I use that gang task constantly. Not only for the considerable benefit of making it easier to find event critters, but also to get everyone out of the way so I can decorate.

With over 150 characters, it is a gift from Heaven that the job manager defaults the entire town's one-hour task to the premium payout one at that mountain. That really surprises me. One tap. Zowee. You'd think they'd want to make it inconvenient.

Also, I love that animation when I tap that stack of 150 handshakes. Ka-ching. :)

I've been sending him in his Pinpal skin for a 20 hour "Go Bowling" task at the bowling alley. It feels like I'm giving him a vacation from the Qwikimart. :D I wonder why it doesn't give a premium payout though, since the Bowlarama is a premium building. Oh well, I have over $90M, so it doesn't really matter. Too bad it isn't real... :?

I love watching everyone pouring out of the mountain, too! The only downside is that my town looks like a ghost town at the moment.

I have some small sections that are arranged by colour.

Most of my town is based on building sizes though.
